The loss of memory becomes unavoidable. The man becomes uncontrolled by the powers of time and gains the truth for the future. A few people appear as a mystery and it is unknown whether their goal is between each other, or towards those who hold special powers. With the events of many house parties, the group becomes endangered by those who had not known before. With the important memory loss, it is unsure for a young girl to gain her memory back. Focusing on the return of the Forest of Emille, all power users are stronger since the last time they had escaped from eternal danger. Will all of the power users be able to conquer the forest this time around…?
Episode 83 - An Old Chapel Within the New Chapel
The Forest of Emille was not just an ordinary forest. It was a mystery to all of the students who discovered this recently. The further into the ruins, the stronger the digicells get. These digicells were very similar to monsters, in human terms. They were called digicells mainly because they are monsters that are fictional. These monsters would vanish after being destroyed. Nobody knows why they exist or what their purpose is. It is only considered a virus-like monster.
The dangerous ruins were being viewed by Matt and Yessenia, two students who made it further into the dungeon. The two of them were recently watching a few dead skeletons lying flat on the floor. Matt was shaking in fear, “T-These skeletons… you mean not a single one survived from the past generations?”
Yessenia chuckled, “Hmhm, why are you so afraid for? We also do not know how many people made it through this since of course their skeletons would not be here. These are just the fails. For all we know, these skeletons are just as low as less than a percentage of those who tried to go through this ruin. Then again, these might be as high as a hundred percent of those who tried to go through here.”
Matt was shaking again, “That does not help! Let’s get out of here or at least come back with more people, Yessenia. I’m not in the mood to feel more pain as I did last time when my flaming chicken died…” Yessenia continued walking. “A-Are you listening to me?! It’s dangerous!”
Yessenia pointed at the skeletons up ahead, “There are even more up ahead. Do you see now? They are just old generation skeletons. In fact, many of them have passed through here.” She knelt down, “These skeletons… Some of them do not seem like they came from past generations.”
Yessenia turned around and she saw a skeleton behind Matt, walking towards him with a sword. Yessenia quickly took out her blunt sword while facing Matt’s direction. Matt screamed, “EEK! What do you think you’re doing?!”
Yessenia swung her blunt sword and she slashed mid-air, causing a strong wave of wind to run through Matt from the side. The wind shattered the skeleton into many pieces of bones. Matt turned around, watching the skeleton shatter. Yessenia made her sword disappear, “I see now. Some of these skeletons are not even from those who had died and failed. I would say at least half of these skeletons are digicells mimicked into looking like human skeletons. Watch your back, any of them can rise up and try to kill you. Think of them more as digicells rather than skeletons, if you will.” She decided to walk up ahead.
Matt said to himself, “These ‘digicells’ look like skeletons, so I’ll treat them like skeletons, damn it.” Matt followed Yessenia grumpily.

In the real world, Venus knocked on the door continuously. Santi opened the door and he smiled. “Eheh, sorry. I was in the restroom.”
Venus screamed at him, “Stuuuupid head! Why didn’t that Matt guy or Yessenia open the door for you then?”
“Venus, it is impolite for guests to let guests in. They do not even know you that well, do they?”
“Not really but still! I’m sure they would have opened the door. Where are they anyway?”
From the side of Santi’s house, Jennifer was climbing against the top window. “I could have sworn I saw the three of them enter the house. Why is it that only Santi is there? Where could the other two have gone?”
Venus barged in and she said in anger, “Seriously, next time, tell us when you’re going to take a shi-…”
Santi pushed her away from the door, “Stop!”
Alex and Mariel stopped talking to each other once they heard Santi yell. Winny gave a normal expression as if she knew he would have yelled. Winny became giddy and she said to Alex and Mariel, “Ooh ooh, I want to see what’s going on. Let’s go see!”

Walking down the hall, there was an intersection. Matt and Yessenia were to either go up ahead or turn right. It was easily decided when they took a peek in the right area. The right side had a room which was already a dead end but it had a few artifacts that interested them. They entered the room and they could see the ceiling way up above. It was shining slightly from the light outside where the forest sits. Matt pointed at a crack in the ceiling, “Aside from the ceiling, look at that crack up there.”
Matt squinted his eyes in order to see. Yessenia felt the seats which were very old and dusty. Yessenia walked down the aisle and she said, “It looks like this place is a chapel. Look, there is a giant podium.” As she was heading towards the podium, she was suddenly astonished after seeing something. She ran up to the podium only to find Danny on the ground.
Matt followed her and he gasped. “D-Danny?! What is he doing down here?”
Yessenia noticed his cellphone on his hand. “He must have picked up the phone right before a digicell attacked him. Matt, we have to be extra careful. Remember when the phone was picked up and immediately, the screeches were heard? The digicells might be nearby.”
Matt readied his fire hands, “I see…” Danny began glowing in darkness, black and red violet.
Yessenia got up and she took a step back, “W-Wait a minute.” She took out her blunt sword, “This cannot be good.”
Matt had a hunching feeling that he could guess what Yessenia’s thinking but he wanted to make sure. “What are you worried about…?”
Yessenia took a stance, “Be careful! The digicell is controlling Danny! We might have to knock him out but avoid killing him.”
“What? But anything I touch with my fire might burn. I don’t want to burn Danny.”
“I will blow it away with my wind power. Just go for it. I will attack him with the side of my sword.” Danny was slowly getting up and Yessenia continued to take a few steps back.
Danny’s eyes were glowing red, “Die.” He said bluntly.
“That really doesn’t sound like him.” Matt was shaking. He threw a fireball and Danny punched it. The fireball shattered. “What the heck? How could he do that so easily?”
Yessenia slashed the air and a wind flew towards Danny. He fell back a little but not entirely. He punched the ground to retaliate and the ground broke in front of Yessenia and Matt. They quickly got back up. Yessenia ran towards Danny with her blunt sword. Due to Danny’s slow speed, Danny was not able escape. Yessenia whacked him with her sword, sideways. Danny fainted and a big-looking digicell jumped out of Danny’s soul.
Matt was amazed, “Whoa, that looked very unreal.”
Yessenia quickly took a stab against the digicell and it shattered. “This damn digicell. All Danny needs is a rest.”
Matt knelt before Danny. “I don’t get it… when we get hurt, don’t we vanish away? We go back into the real world when we are not able to fight anymore.”
Yessenia sighed, “I am getting the concept of powers more now, Matt.” She closed her eyes, “I think fate is bringing us closer to the fictional world. The more we are involved, the more it all becomes realistic. I have to be honest, it is getting tougher for even me.”
Matt complained, “Then why are we constantly going back to these stupid worlds? Especially Danny here, why is he even here?!”
Yessenia interrupted his anguish comments, “That is because he wants to prove is strength. You even told me the whole story between you, Danny, and Santi back in Arkon’s Magic, remember? To me, it seems like Danny wanted to complete the Forest of Emille on his own but he failed to do so.”
Matt looked up at the ceiling again, “So that’s how he got here without using the door. He must have broken through the ground with his powers in order to take a shortcut. And he wanted to prove his powers? He’s strong enough. He doesn’t need to prove anything.”
“That is not what you said in Arkon’s Magic, did you?” Matt became silent from what Yessenia said.
“I-I don’t know… At any rate, we should have him press the home button.”
Yessenia grabbed Danny’s hand and she made his finger click on Arkon’s Magic, “Better yet, he should go to Arkon’s Magic if he is this badly injured. When he awakes, then it is safe for him to move on his own in the real world.” Danny vanished away. “As for us, we should keep on going but like we always say, teleport away when things get out of control.”
Matt nodded, “Alright. That sounds pretty easy.”

At Santi’s house, Mariel was getting the idea that Matt and Yessenia went to one of the fictional worlds rather than mysteriously disappearing like what Venus and Alex is thinking. Winny only stood there in the back, watching and giggling from the scene. Mariel said in a hurry, “UHH~ hey I think Matt and Yessenia went home already. Their parents had to pick them up I guess so I think we should all go home now. Besides, it’s getting really late now, don’t you think?” She began pushing Venus and Alex away, one person on each hand.
Venus turned around, “Wait, are you sure? That was pretty fast though.”
“It wasn’t fast when you became impatient when knocking on the door, now go!” Mariel commanded. Alex only whined but he did what Mariel told him to do. “Good boy.” Venus rolled her eyes as she decided to do what Mariel said as well.
While the three of them were walking to the front, Winny had her arms crossed. “Wow, Santi, I’m impressed.” She was her serious self.
After about a few minutes, Mariel arrived back at Santi’s front door. “Tell me what in the world is going on, man! I only know it has something to do with our powers.” Santi explained the situation with Danny and Mariel took out her cellphone. “Are you telling me that Danny is in danger?”
Santi stopped her, “Wait, it might be dangerous. Let me call Yessenia.”
Yessenia answered the phone. “Yes?”
“Where are you at?” Santi asked.
“We are in some old church. Could be an old chapel-…” She suddenly became surprised. Matt overheard her and he was curious as to why she suddenly sounded amazed.
“What is it now?” Santi heard her gasp. “Is everything okay?”
Yessenia nodded and said, “Yes, everything is fine. Danny was sent to Arkon’s Magic because he was injured by a digicell. For some reason, that digicell was able to take over his body.”
Matt took a look around. The buildings were of course different from El Monte. He felt the podium and the manufacture was a bit odd to him. “I’ve never felt something like this before.”
From Santi’s house, Winny said out loud, “Don’t you think it’s strange? Reception is working from El Monte to the Forest of Emille.”
Yessenia heard Winny. Both Santi and Yessenia were surprised again at the same time. Yessenia took sight of the old chapel, “Santi, are you thinking what I am thinking?”
Santi said with pride, “I get it now! The Forest of Emille must be… the future of El Monte!”
Matt heard Santi from Yessenia’s cellphone. Matt ran up to her and he yelled, “The future of El Monte?! What!”
Mariel became excited. “Wow, that sounds pretty cool! Hey, why don’t we all go check it out? Yessenia said she’s at some old church, right?”
Winny added, “That might be the ‘New Hope Church’ that has uselessly been sitting behind our school.”
Santi said to Yessenia, “Alright then. Hey, we are going to come take a look as well. How do you get to the old church?”
Yessenia explained to him, “Just go passed the door that you fast-forwarded. You will make your way down a slide and then into a room. Go further down the hall from the room and turn right to reach the chapel. The door mentions that Rena was bounded in 1008 here. Since this is the future, I wonder what year this is…”
Matt shaded his forehead with his right hand and then he took a look around, “I don’t see any ‘Rena’ here. Is there even one in El Monte’s church? No one ever talked about some girl named ‘Rena’ from a thousand years ago.”
Mariel hurriedly teleported into the Forest of Emille and Winny followed. Santi concluded his conversation, “Alright, Yessenia, we are leaving to the forest now. I hope you two are patient enough to wait for us because we are headed our way.”
“Okay, just be quick.” Yessenia said. They both hung up. “Well, it looks like Santi is on his way. Mariel and Winny too.”
Matt scratched his head, “How did Santi get Venus, Alex, and Jennifer away?”
“Beats me. Santi sounded calm though so it is all good. We should just wait for them to arrive. In the meantime, we can investigate more on this church.”
“Right.” Matt agreed.

Outside of Santi’s house, Jennifer jumped down from the walls of the second floor. “Strange. Everyone is gone. This could be a bit interesting, hmhm.”

Matt: The most important part of Emille is revealed, the chapel is next! Next time on episode 84, Mixes Between Ruins and Parties!
