It’s me, Nix! Let’s talk about Edmund! Last time, I told you that Edmund is a parallel universe. Winny and Santi knew about this because they were underlings of Luther, the supposed ruler of the worlds. Like the sun, there is a moon in Edmund that is as large as the sun and there is a sufficient amount of energy to support the planet. You know what happens if we don’t have a sun, right? We won’t be able to survive! It’s so amazing how Edmund’s moon functions exactly like the sun though. It rains all the time and that is apparently normal. You know how much it rains in our own world, Earth? That’s how frequent the sun comes out in Edmund. Cool huh?!
“Psst… psst! Hey you!” Venus slapped Alex on the top of his head. Alex growled and Venus whispered, “Shhhh! I think I hear people.” The sound of footsteps all at once from the many soldiers and guards caused Venus to wake up. “And you’re such a heavy sleeper, aren’t you? We should keep on going. I think the soldiers know that we’re here.”
“Oh no duh. Where else could we have gone if we left the concentration camp through the gate?” Alex’s tone was quite mocking. The both of them could hear a few screams from women and children. “Do you think… others tried to escape here and failed?”
Venus took out her whip. “Who knows? But, if soldiers come and try to touch me, I will whip them until they die!”
“You’re not that pretty.” Alex rolled his eyes.
Venus yelped. “EXCUSE ME?! Shut up. I didn’t ask for your opinion. You know how men are these days, well, except you.”
“You know how women are these days.” Alex retaliated with his own joke. “Well, except you because you would look into the mirror of just about anything you find. Mirrors in your house, mirrors in the bathroom, mirrors and windows from stores, reflections and such-…”
Venus blushed. “Okay you shut up. And how do you know I like to look at myself in the mirror in the bathrooms?”
“Oh I don’t know, wild guess.” Alex murmured quickly.
Venus whipped Alex on the behind. “You better watch your mouth, young lady!”
“OW! AUGH!” Alex moaned in pain. “Why are you attacking me?! And I’m not even a lady!”
“HEY YOU!” A soldier’s voice was heard.
With Venus’s reflex, she quickly turned around and whipped the soldier’s face. “Eeek! Don’t get any closer!” The soldier covered his face in pain. There was a long red mark across his face due to the whip. Alex ran up to the soldier and whacked the helmet. The soldier became dizzy and then he fainted onto the ground. Venus crossed her arms in annoyance, “Oh nice going Alex, you killed somebody. We’re trying to run away, not make things worse.”
“He’s not even dead!” Alex whined. “And you’re the one who attacked first. Ugh, I’m just going to keep on going. Forget this.” Alex began walking.
“Oh you little girl, stop walking away from me.” Venus mocked.
“I’m not a little girl!!” Alex screamed back at her.
After about thirty minutes of terrible walking in the morning, Alex became tired. Venus jumped on a large piece of rock. The junk area was filled with broken cranes and extra vehicle pieces. The two finally decide to spark up a conversation.
“Hey Alex… you don’t think that this world has a lot of cars do you?”
“Well we saw trucks at the camp so there should be. I’m just confused as to why we haven’t seen any regular cars yet.”
Venus joked, “What if this world was a parallel universe? Booooo, hehe!”
Alex looked away and then he said to himself, “Oh gee, I haven’t heard that one before…”
Alex and Venus continued walking down the road towards Enheizer from the south area of the junkyard. They could hear more soldiers coming from behind. Venus grabbed Alex’s shirt and she dragged him into a hiding area in between two large junk piles. It was really dark in the alley-like area and Alex could imagine a dark monster appearing out of nowhere, breaking every bone that both Venus and Alex had. Venus tried to stop him from shaking because his rummage was causing a bit noise.
Venus watched as one of the CORP soldiers pointed up ahead from where Venus and Alex were about to continue walking. The other CORP soldier nodded and headed up ahead. Venus grinned. She tried to think of a plan to get through without the soldiers spotting them. Some of the guards and soldiers from behind could be seen with some peasants back at the concentration camps.
“Hurry it up!” A CORP soldier pushed a woman to move forward faster. He told another soldier, “We’re going to take them to the Enheizer jail. Until we retrieve more trucks and copters, we are stuck walking.” He said back to the peasant woman, “Which I’m sure isn’t a problem for you since you’re used to walking and working most of your life, heh!” The woman was kicked and she fell forward. “Hey! I didn’t tell you to stop and rest!” The woman’s face was dirty and even the tears could contrast against her dusted skin.
Venus said angrily, “Hmph, that is sexist right there! I’m going to beat that bastard up and make sure not to mess with a woman ever again.”
Alex screamed, finding a dark jelly monster appear in front of him. Venus turned around and tried to shut him up but she screamed just as much as Alex did. They both ran out of the alleyway and out they came in front view with the soldiers and peasants. Still, they ran for their lives from the disgusting sight of the dark jellies. From Venus’s quick point of view, she could see soldiers up ahead becoming frightened that a stampede of two teenagers was coming closer. In reaction, Venus closed her eyes and then she constantly whipped every soldier who was getting in her way. Luckily for Alex, all he had to do was follow right behind her.
Each soldier who was getting whipped fell against a few junk piles causing most of it to fall over. The whole junk area around Venus, Alex, the soldiers, the guards and all of the peasants was becoming a mess. Some large metal scraps were falling in front of the soldiers so that they had a difficult time crossing to reach the two teenagers. Alex finally gave the chance to turn around. He laughed, “Aha! Venus, look! They’re all stuck back there!”
A larger dark jelly appeared in front of them and Venus screamed. “MORE?!” She whipped the jelly and it scattered all over the floor. She made a run for it and Alex followed her. Alex checked up on the jelly to see that it was forming back together. Alex poked Venus to alert her that the jelly seems angrier. Venus screamed even louder. “I don’t think attacking it will work!”
“If only I had my water powers again!” Alex frowned.
“Water powers? What are you talking about?”
“Oh… never mind, ignore that! It was in my dream once.” Alex lied.
“Well whatever then. Catch up with me if you can. I hate jellies!”
It was easy for Alex to keep his pace with Venus’s. “You’re only fast right now because you’re running away from something yet when you do the mile in school, you’re slow as hell!”
“Oh you shut up!” Venus yelled. They both ran away together and the dark jelly’s eyes were angrier than ever but it only stood there, molding around.
After about five minutes of running, the two students were getting exhausted. Luckily, they practically had to give pause, for what lied ahead of them was a large dip. This area of the junkyard was considered unfinished. “Now what?” Alex wondered.
Venus took a look around for a way across the large dip. “Well we can sit here for a while, thinking about what to do next. I mean we kind of lost those soldiers and weird jelly things, right?”
“I don’t think just sitting around here would be a good idea.”
“Hrm… You take the fun out of everything. Fine.” She saw a crane to the left of the dip. “If we can’t even cross a hole on the floor, then we might as well fill this crap up!” She whacked the crane so that it would fall into the hole. The crane sunk into the dirt just like quicksand. The upper half of the crane was still sticking out in the presence. “Was that supposed to happen?”
Alex fixed his glasses and said, “Well when you’re digging up a bunch of dirt deep from the underground, the moistness would help it act like quicksand. But then again, the dirt would have to be recent.”
“What are you saying? Speak in English, you idiot.”
“Calm down! It’s just that if this was an old abandoned junkyard, then the dirt here shouldn’t be that moist by now.”
"And I'm still not understanding."
"Augh." Alex said in annoyance. "What I'm saying is that there were workers here just recently before we came here."
"Even if you say that... Does that mean Matt and Yessenia went through here?"
"Maybe, maybe not. But that doesn't matter. It wouldn't make sense for Matt and Yessenia to bother with making holes when they're trying to run away like we are." Right there and then, a large exploding noise appeared from behind the two of them. Venus closed her eyes, being surprised with what just happened. She covered herself as best as she could while Alex jumped, screaming in fear.
With an impulse, Venus quickly decided to jump onto the crane which was deep inside and stuck within the quicksandish dirt. The crane was shaking and it was slowly sliding deeper into the dirt. Alex yelped, "WAH! Venus, watch out! You're going to fell into the dirt!!"
Anybody would expect for Venus to show fear of the dirt but instead, she laughed at all of the excitement she was having. "Ah ha ha! This is crazy!" The crane was swaying left to right, still lowering into the dirt. "Hey why is it even going deeper into the ground anyway? Am I that heavy?!"
"You're about to die and you're thinking about your WEIGHT?! Venus, be careful!!"
"Oh you hush up!" The crane's swaying caused a ruckus on more objects surrounding the deep dirt. More objects were falling in. All of the random objects made an extremely loud noise altogether.
Soldiers from up and behind Alex appeared with musketoon guns. With the length of their weapons, Alex squealed and went ahead, jumping onto the crane. One of the CORP soldiers tried to shoot but he missed by a few yards. Both of the students began swaying back and forth on each end of the rocking crane. They both screamed together but their tones were completely different by the fact that Alex was afraid and Venus was having fun.
One soldier said to the other as they stopped shooting, "What the hell...?" A few dark slimes from behind hovered over the soldiers. They were becoming overpowered.
The crane from up above Venus began to break and slant over to the other side of the deep hole. Venus decided to stand on it. "Ah!"
Alex screamed as if he was going to die, "VENUS NO!! You're going to fall off for sure!!"
Venus held out her whip for Alex's hand. "Hold onto it!"
"N-No way!!"
"Come on!"
Alex was shaking and he closed his eyes from his situation. He had no other choice, and so he decided to grab a hold of Venus's whip. Venus made a run for the edge of the crane with Alex dragged on the crane. "S-Stop! Ow, ow!"
Venus focused at the end of the crane. She was able to drag Alex onto her whip since the crane was hanging downhill. At the very end, she made the longest jump she could ever make and Alex was also sent flying with her.
They made the clearing and the crane completely broke off of the rest of the machine. Alex was on his knees, grasping for air. Venus stood up right away. "Phew! Wasn't that fun?"
"Heck no! Let's just hurry up and get out of here."
"Aw you're no fun." She turned around and looked up ahead. "It's almost dawn. I can see the city area from here but it'll take us a few more hours of walking."
Alex cried. "Auuuuugh more walking?! Can't we take a break?"
"Hmph, fine. But, the moment we reach about ten minutes, we're leaving!"
Alex and Venus rested under a broken building that hung over above them. Venus looked at her whip in awe. To think such a weapon used by soldiers at a concentration camp can be used for so many things other than hurting others for the worst reasons. She noticed that Alex was still gripping onto his Grimoire book. Venus asked kindly for once, "Can I ask again why you care about it so much?"
"What, this?" Alex rose his book in front of his face. "This book... I got it from our Biology class. One week of school and already, we're in this mess."
Venus scratched her head in confusion. "Then where did that book come from? And, why is it so special to you?"
"That's the thing. In online games, I would be a magician all the time and in some games, mages use books as weapons. Those books look so much like these."
"So basically you like this book because it helps you cosplay into a better and accurate magician!"
"NO! That's lame! My point is that this book shouldn't even exist, especially if it's in our school."
"It's a magical book for science. Why else is it in our Biology class?"
"Who knows. I really want to know, but of course I was sent into this weird world of Elsiya or whatever it's called that people keep talking about."
Venus stood up from the ground. "Ah... whatever you say. I don't know about you, but I'm done resting. I think it's time for us to get going, okay?" Alex frowned but he agreed.

Venus: Oh what a beautiful city… Alex, hurry up! We’re going!
Yessenia: So this is Enheizer?
Jaime: Just pretend that I’m walking you two to the headquarters. We’re just going to the hotel to rest up for a bit.
Matt: This is awesome!
Jaime: Of course it is. Let’s hope nothing goes wrong. Next time on episode 125, The City of Enheizer, Splashed in Green!
Yessenia: ‘Let’s hope nothing goes wrong’? What are you implying?
Jaime: I’m implying something?
