On the
last arc, Rowen had taken advantage of Matt and Alex and was able to retrieve
both the Bird’s Tear and the Rainbow Mist. Going back to Tigre Village, the
Telsi Potion was made to revive his three old friends: Droan, Anietta, and
Narisa! At a close pinch, the main group of El Monte was able to stop him with
teamwork. Now that the potion has been used, how will the students return to
Earth? Telgei appears and tells them that there is a possibility, but it would
mean attending the Sunlit Mayhem. The ten students have been through an
overwhelming loss in their Sunlit Mayhem score, but there is still time to pull
through. Will these students be able to make it?
Episode 209 – Chivalrous RPG Battle, Levi and Marri’s Point
of View
“Don’t come any closer, demon!!” Matt dug into
his ice cream carton with a spoon and then he chugged it at the man who came in
from the door.
“…You are one annoying bastard.” It
was Vialaro who stood stall against the door with ice cream sliding down his
face.
“What do you want?”
While Vialaro grabbed a napkin off
to the side to wash his face, he said to Matt, “I have some important news for
you.”
“What’s that? Why should I care?”
“It has to do with the mayhem
itself.”
Matt became serious. “…Oh. I’m
listening.”

Stan waited in his shield while
Taiger was constantly clawing his way towards him. Eventually, even one of the
strongest shields that Stan could currently wield had shattered. This caused a
disturbance between them. Why the shield was shattering to the ground, Stan
made a run for it. He then turned around and summoned his zweihander again.
“You’re not going to win this match!”
Taiger ran towards him with his
indestructible claws. Each attack was guarded by Stan’s quick and smooth
movements that came with his zweihander. Taiger made a low sweep against Stan’s
leg. Stan fell over but before he could fall, he made a quick jump. Alex bit
his lower lip, angry that Stan is getting by with copying RPG gaming movements.
“How is this possible?!”
“Someone’s jealous.” Christine
giggled.
“You shut your mouth! RPG movements
are not meant to be imitated! You’d get beat up immediately if you used them.”
“Stan’s still up and alive though.”
Thuy commented.
“ARGH! Screw this!” Alex said.
Stan made his zweihander disappear
and then he summed a sickle which was able to catch Taiger by the neck.
“Grah!!” Taiger stood there, the sickle encircling his neck. “I see you pinned
me. No matter how fast I move, your weapon is long enough to stab my neck.
That’s smart of you.”
Stan stopped. “Wait what? That
wasn’t in the RPGs.”
“He totally forgot that he has more
movement and freedom in the real world?!” Alex shouted. “YOU SUCK!!”
Taiger raised his hands. “It is
checkmate for me. I stand by defeat.”
The blue flag was raised,
representing their defeat. Matt threw the ice cream carton away from himself.
“Damn it! How the heck could Stan beat that guy?! And how did I tie?!”
Vialaro, to the side, had the ice
cream carton covering his hair. “I was in the middle of telling you a story…”
Stan raised his hands. “Hell yes!! I
win!”
Kalpesh crossed his arms. “He got
lucky. That Taiger guy is just loyal.”
Jenny clapped her hands together.
“That makes the score a tie between three losses and three wins!”
Peter sighed. “Damn it. The
pressure’s on us.”
Jenny suddenly cried as she
nervously laughed at the wooden walls. “Ahahahahahahah! No pressure at all!”
“What kind of reaction is that?!”
Peter said.

Shirley sat up on her hospital bed.
She began swinging her legs in impatience, wondering if Joey found Sharon yet.
In the meanwhile, Levi came barging in with her arm stuck outside the door. She
was shaking her arms for some reason. Shirley tilted her head. “Um… Are you
okay, Levi?”
“Y-Y-Yes. Someone… is being shy
here.”
“What are you talking about?”
“I can’t hold on to the ground any
longer!!” yelled a familiar voice outside. Levi’s arm suddenly flew into the
door and she fell over. In came in two more people: Marri and Pippy.
“You were able to drag a taller girl
and a fat cat?!?!?!” Shirley wailed.
Marri and Pippy were in front of Levi, both lying on the ground. “What is the
meaning of this?” She asked.
Marri coughed. “Shirley… I have to
tell you the truth.” Shirley focused on her as Marri continued, “That capsule
outside… It’s actually a strengthening booster, but it distorts time a lot
faster than it should.”
“W-What…?”
“That’s why… That’s why Vialaro and
Levi are still the same age, but Pippy and I grew older by five years with
powerful strength!”
“No way… That doesn’t sound very
real.” Shirley said. “Then again… We have these powers and stuff, so… basically
anything can happen.”
Pippy said to Shirley, “Marri is
telling the truth! I couldn’t believe it myself either, but as I looked at the
capsule, my mind became clearer… We know who put us into those capsules.”
Shirley waited for the answer. Marri
then said, “It was Rowen, Rowen Bartholemute. And, Gerald has something to do
with it!”
“H-HUH?!” Shirley’s heart skipped a
beat from astonishment.

“Levi says she already knows who she
is challenging next. It is of another girl.” Vialaro said to Matt.
“That must be Jenny… But how come
Levi knows of her incoming opponent when we never had the chance to know?”
“Gerald gave us an advantage. He let
us all know and choose.”
“W-What? But we couldn’t.”
“Maybe he is in favor of the Blue
team which is us.”
“That’s not fair!” Matt exclaimed.
At this point, he became furious. A red aura wrapped around him due to the
unfairness of the Sunlit Mayhem battles. “So wait, why is this Gerald guy in
favor of you guys? He doesn’t even know us.”
During their conversation, Levi
appeared on the telescreen, waiting for the next match. So far, the Red team
siding on El Monte has two losses and three wins. Will they make it out alive?
Spokesman Gerald calmly re-entered
his throne and called out through the microphone, “Ladies and gentlemen! We
will begin the ninth battle: Levi, from the Blue team! And on the other side of
the match, Jenny Tran! Levi will be fighting for her right home back to
Echoville while Jenny, as usual, will fight for their own right home to Earth!”
Jenny entered the stage. Her hand
was over her chest and her heart was beating fast. Her face was bright pink
from stage fright. Amy clapped her hands together. “You can do it, Jenny!”
Van and Maggie had obnoxious
vuvuzuelas in their hands as they called out with their horns as loud as
possible. William was sitting next to the two girls, healed up from his battle
moments ago.
Levi had a giant bazooka in her
hands. Many of the teenage men in the audience cheered for her revealing
appearance and her independent appearance because of her bazooka. Levi pointed
at Jenny, “We don’t know each other, but let’s have a friendly battle!”
Matt watched from the hospital as he
sat up, feeling much better this time around. “Your friend, Levi, became much
more loyal.”
Vialaro closed his eyes and said
with pride, “Heh. She learned a lot from you humans. It helped her, and myself
I suppose.”
Both flags went up and the battle
began. Jenny took a step back, fearing the battle compared to the last time she
fought with Amy. Amy gasped. “Why is she afraid?!”
Levi shot a large bullet from her
bazooka but Jenny accidentally fell before she could get hit. Jenny screamed.
Van clenched her fists in worrisome. “Oh gosh, what is she doing? She’s going
to get hurt so bad!”
Maggie yelled obnoxiously, “Get your
butt back up, Jenny! Damn it!!”
Jenny was shaking uncontrollably.
She said to herself, “I can’t fight you. My last battle was for Tony. I had a
stronger determination and reason to fight, but this time around, I’m fighting
someone who has just as good of a right as I do: to go home.”
Levi ran quickly towards Jenny as if
she teleported in speed. She kicked Jenny upward into mid-air and then elbowed
her stomach. Jenny fell back down from the two-hit combo. Jenny held on to her
stomach. “Fight seriously, Jenny!” Levi commanded.
Amy ran up to the front rails on the
first floor so she could have a clear conversation with Jenny. “Jenny! Listen
to me! Please, fight for El Monte! It doesn’t matter how much damage you deal
to your opponent. She will understand you!”
“But she will be in pain!” Jenny
hesitated.
Levi agreed with Amy, “That little
girl is right. I don’t like fighting wussies.”
Matt said to Vialaro, “Well, she
still has her determination.” Vialaro shook his head.
Amy added to her speech, “Listen to
your heart! What does it tell you?!”
Jenny thought to herself, “My mind
hesitates me… but my heart… it tells me that I should save my friends by
winning.”
Amy
said to her, “The problem is that your mind overpowers your true intentions.
You must overpass that, Jenny! Please, for all your friends!”
Van and Maggie gained more respect
for Amy after listening to their speech. William coughed, “And I expected more
friendship support from the very own trio-sisters.”
Maggie slapped him while Van said to
him, “You’re her friend too!”
Jenny stood up. “Maybe Amy’s right.
Maybe I have to overcome that fear and fight for my friends. I’ve done it once
before, and I will do it again even if it does cause pain!”
Levi laughed. “Haha! That’s what I
was hoping for!”
Jenny’s aura turned darker purple,
and then her whole body was shining. Levi took several steps back, watching
Jenny’s true potential. The aura vanished and Jenny was a demon. She gained
pointy antlers and tattoos were all over her face and arms. Her long skirt
turned shorter and her blue and orange sweater turned into a ripped, patterned
leather jacket. She also had talons and claws. “For my friends!”
The audience was in shock that Jenny
could turn into such a demon. Van froze. “I… never seen her like this in
person.”
Maggie said slowly as well, “Me…
neither.”
Levi shot another bullet and then
Jenny only grabbed the bullet into her hands. It disintegrated. Levi
transformed her bazooka into a large machine that had eight holes. She shot
eight bullets at once, each taking less than a split second. Jenny spun her
arms into a large circle which created a demonic veil. Every single bullet
disintegrated. Levi decided to physically battle Jenny. “If my bazooka does not
work, I will have to fight you physically!”
Shirley could see the telescreen
from outside the stage, “Is this really the girl that Mariel fought back
then?!”
Levi punched simultaneously with her
left fist and then her right. Jenny guarded each and every one of them with her
defensed arms. Jenny quickly made a kick towards Levi’s hips. Levi fell to the
ground which made the floor break away from its flat surface. The audience was
cheering now. Alex shouted, “Now this is what I call a heated battle!”
Jenny flow towards Levi with her
demonic wings and then gave Levi another punch with her right fist to the
chest. After the first punch, Jenny tried to use her left fist this time but
Levi grabbed on to it as best as she could. Levi looked up at Jenny, “I… can’t
lose yet.” The both of them were shaking. They tried to overpower each other’s
grips.
Levi began confessing the longer
version of her past. “Vialaro and I came to Elsiya through a portal that Rowen
forgot to close after taking away Marri and Pippy. We’ve seen this Rowen guy
once before and knew he was suspicious but we did nothing, because you humans
proved to us that not all humans were bad. However…” Her speech was broadcasted
throughout the whole stadium. Spokesman Gerald stood up this time.
Matt turned to Vialaro, “What is
going on?”
“Sh, just listen.” Vialaro said to
him.
Levi went on, “Back in Echoville,
October of 2008, Marri and Pippy must have gone to Elsiya with the help of
Rowen’s calling. Then, I got the next bit of information from Marri as her
memory began clearing up. Apparently, Rowen knows much about Gerald and they’ve
teamed up several times in the past.” The whole El Monte group became shocked.
“Rowen once helped Marri from the war that she had to go through years ago in
our own history against humans, around 2004. Ironic, I know.”
Marri continued Levi’s story to
Shirley, “I remember having a concussion and was told that my parents were gone
in the war, so I had to live with the elves. Rowen vanished to El Monte at this
point. Back in the future, Rowen needed my help to fight against enemies of
Elsiya but I refused to fight again. Forcefully… he took me and Pippy in an
aging capsule which left my memory broken into pieces for an additional five
years in Arri this whole time.” Marri begins crying. Pippy was also
heartbroken.
Marri concluded the story, “We fell
from the capsules randomly and we saw Telgei who barely escaped. He told us not
to tell, but he knew all along that Gerald was a bad man but Telgei tried his
best to go against Gerald as subtle as possible. We kept this part a secret up
until today. From there, the three of us escaped to the Druskane Continent
together.”
Pippy then concluded their story,
“And then we bumped into you, Shirley.”
Shirley was in awe as she said, “Are
you telling me…” She became extremely angry. “That Rowen bastard did all this
to you – my friends?!”

What do you mean by that?
Yessenia: In this battle, the rules have been slim and slacked off.
Winny:
It feels like we’re being cheated off this whole mayhem anyway.
Jenny:
If you don’t leave me alone, you’ll really get it this time!
Levi:
W-Wait a minute! You don’t want to do this!
Matt:
Their battle has come to a climax. Who wins, and who survives? Next time on

Alex:
