On the
last arc, Rowen had taken advantage of Matt and Alex and was able to retrieve
both the Bird’s Tear and the Rainbow Mist. Going back to Tigre Village, the
Telsi Potion was made to revive his three old friends: Droan, Anietta, and
Narisa! At a close pinch, the main group of El Monte was able to stop him with
teamwork. Now that the potion has been used, how will the students return to
Earth? Telgei appears and tells them that there is a possibility, but it would
mean attending the Sunlit Mayhem. The ten students have been chosen and now the
score is one win, two losses, and one draw. Will the students be able to make
more wins in their score count?
Episode 205 – Take My Life Away, Taking Your Necklace
in Return
Shirley stood still in the area
while Sharon had a clear opening. The crowd was cheering for the princess now
and the whole El Monte group backstage had no idea what to do in order to make
Shirley gain her conscience again.
“Come on, wake up, Shirley!!” Matt
yelped, hoping that Shirley could hear.
Yessenia shook her head. “At this
rate, we are losing. I told you, we should not let our guard down.”
Venus hesitated. “Well this time
Sharon is a friend and we don’t attack our own friends this way, right?”
“She certainly doesn’t mind doing
so.” Peter said about Sharon.
Sharon ran towards Shirley with a
long knife. Joey and Alex watched carefully. Christine screamed, “Shirley,
hurry up!!! Wake up now!”
Thuy was about to cry. “Is that
Sharon girl planning to actually kill her…?!”
Once Sharon arrived nearby, she
yelled in anger, “GRAAAHHH!” She raised the knife and then she suddenly
stopped. She could see Shirley’s tears run down her eyes even though she was
unconscious from Sharon’s control. “W-What?” Sharon’s heart was aching. “Why…
Why are you still crying as if you want me back? I’m supposed to make you an
enemy of mine!” She clenched her teeth and then she was about to kneel down to
cry. Suddenly, she turned around to see Spokesman Gerald, and then she turned
back to Shirley. Sharon raised her knife again. “For my freedom from turning
into a slave: I better earn it.” Sharon stabbed the ice wall and it shattered
in front of Shirley.
Because of the damage, Shirley
gained consciousness but she was already inflicted by her ice wall. She fell to
the ground and she could barely move. Some of the ice walls shattered into
sharp pieces that struck her body. Shirley was on the floor, barely able to
move. She was crying, however. “Why can’t I ever win… This always happens… I
can never be useful.” She said to herself as she watched the blue flag being
raised. The Blue team won and Shirley closed her eyes. “I am making our own
freedom… break apart…”
Joey stood up and headed for the
entrance to the stadium. Christine and Thuy followed him. Matt and Yessenia
followed as well. Sharon took a step back and then she ran away into her
backstage, crying. Matt knelt down. “Shirley!”
Joey shook her, “Please, please be
conscious!”
Yessenia placed her ears over
Shirley’s chest. “She is still alive and breathing. We have to take her into
the hospital, quick!”
The doctors began walking on the
stadium and the referee was trying to kick the five students out of the arena.
Christine became worried. “Shirley… all of those ice parts…”
Thuy counted. “It looks like over
ten slightly stabbed through her skin.”
Yessenia
added, “And from the sudden unconsciousness-becoming-consciousness, her mind
must have gone blank after she was free from Sharon’s daydreaming ability.”
Matt said to Shirley even though she
was unconscious, “Don’t worry. We’ll definitely win! Even with a 1 win and 2
loss ratio, we can still make it through, Shirley!”
Yessenia suddenly paused. “Huh?” She
took sight of Spokesman Gerald who was unimpressed. “Sharon’s being controlled
by somebody, I have a gut feeling.”
“What are you talking about?” Matt
said to her.
“This feeling is the same feeling as
when Jon turned towards darkness and Hades much long ago, remember?”
“When we defeated Hades, Jon was
back to normal again. Is Hades back?”
“No. Hades is long gone. This time,
the culprit is not using any powers to control Sharon. This person is using…
his own words against her.”
“What? Ah, hey! Don’t just leave!”
Matt tried to catch up to Yessenia who suddenly ran out of the stage but he did
not know what she was going to do next. Matt followed along and Jen noticed
that Matt was leaving. She had a feeling something was going on as well, so Jen
decided to leave the stage to find Matt.

In the Forest of Trine, Medusai made
snakes appear from her hair. “You’ll get it from me now!” Jaime created a
shadow of Medusai below her and this helped control her body. “W-What are you
doing?!”
Jaime had his palms open. He was
focusing his magic element of shadow to control Medusai successfully. “This
looks like an easy win.”
Winny threw her Changmin ball at
Medusai while the snake woman was stunned. Omar slashed her body and there was
red blood instead of the usual green blood that the digicells poured. Medusai fell
to the ground. “GRAAGH!”
Winny took a step back. “Hold on a
minute…!”
“Medusai isn’t a digicell?” Omar
stood there in dismay. “Just who is she?”
Medusai began laughing hysterically.
“Heh… Hehe! HEHAHAHAH! I am a human, of course! A cursed human with the power
of Medusa’s stone ability.”
Winny turned away. “Tch. Luther even
made a power that was knocked off by the original Medusa…” After all, Luther
was the creator of all magic, it seemed.
Medusai was still bleeding but
laughing like a crazy woman. “You see… I was once a spirit of the Vermillion’s
Volcano. It was no fun. I had no power other than to control fire. What can I
do with it if the mother of Elsiya controlled me? I had to run away.”
“Where did you even get your snake
powers?” Jaime asked.
“Medusa powers!!” Medusai corrected.
“He called himself Luther.”
Winny was extremely shocked. “What?!
But when…?!”
“Probably around late August. But
who cares. I’m… close to my limit.”
“No. We need to know. Luther was
long gone back in early August, not late August. How would you even gain powers
from him still? What did he look like?!” Winny asked eagerly.
“He… he… had a ha-…” She fainted.
Tony appeared behind the three
students. “She… lost already?”
“Teamwork really does help.” Jaime
said.
“Something you wouldn’t know about!”
Omar mocked him, still hesitating to trust Tony.
“I think we should return to Arri.
If Medusai is no longer conscious, the calcified civilians at the village might
be back to normal.” Tony suggested while he ignored Omar’s comments. The group
agreed to follow along, but Omar pouted.

Matt, Yessenia, and Jen watched from
outside the stadium through the telescreens.
“We are ready for our fifth battle! After
this, we are halfway through the mayhem! It seems like a difficult battle for
the El Monte group now that they are at two losses and one win!” called out
Spokesman Gerald. “Who will be next?” The group of students backstage was eager
to find out the next participant. “On the red team of El Monte, Venus Phan!”
Danny whined, “You know, I never
wondered why Venus has the same last name as Christine yet Venus looks very
white.”
“Well,” Christine answered, “Venus
is part White and part Vietnamese, yet she runs through the Vietnamese culture.
We’re not related though. We just have the same last name, just like Matt and
Jenny who are not related but have the same last name.”
Venus headed for the stadium, “So
I’m next…” She said with eager. “I will definitely win this match, no matter
who it is!” She smiled.
“And on the blue team, saying that
he will give up his special necklace if he loses…”
“N-Necklace?” Venus froze for a
moment. She went through a flashback on when she lost her necklace back at the
elevator boat while wearing fancy clothing. “A necklace…”
“Johnny!” Gerald yelled from the
bottom of his lungs.
Matt cheered. “Ahhh! It’s that cool
guy again!” Matt said from outside the stage.
Venus shook her head. “He STOLE that
necklace!!!” The crowd began to laugh, thinking it’s highly impossible for a
man like Johnny to somehow steal a necklace from a girl.
“Johnny says he’s had that necklace
for several years.” Gerald went on. With Gerald being the announcer, the crowd
believed him more and they began to laugh at Venus for ‘lying’.
Venus clenched her fists and she
shook in complete anger. “You’ve got to be kidding me…”
Johnny waved at her. “What’s up!”
“Excuse me?!” Venus yelled. “You
don’t have the right to steal a precious necklace given from my grandmother and
then say it has been yours forever!” Johnny said nothing in response. The
referee raised both flags indicating that their battle has begun. In anger,
Venus hastily went first. “Screw the little pause in the beginning. Your
bastard ass deserves nothing of that!!” She hardened her whip and ran towards
Johnny with a Thunder Jab to the chest. Johnny gasped in pain. “Gotcha, you
asshole!”
“Damn, she’s angry.” Matt commented.
Stan said to the students backstage,
“She is clearly using that to her advantage to beat him up.”
Johnny fell to the ground. Venus
shook her head. “That’s how it’s done. I would like my necklace back now!!”
Johnny gave a smug grin and then his body popped with a ‘plop!’ noise. He
suddenly disappeared. Venus became confused. “Wait, what? What happened?”
Johnny teleported right behind Venus
and then he grabbed both of her arms. He posed the arms into an X position
where both Venus’s arms crossed each other. This way, he was able to pin her
while standing. “You never knew what I could do, no?”
Venus was shaking, trying to
struggle against Johnny’s group but he was too physically strong against her.
“Let go of me!” Venus said. “Don’t even touch me, you dirty liar!!” She kicked
his foot but he only vanished again. Appearing behind her, Venus expected this,
so she turned around quickly and she tried to whip him several times. “Boom!
Crackle!” She jumped back a step and then she used a longer range attack.
“Thunder Snap!” Johnny’s body only vanished several times after Venus made an
attack. “Stop running away!”
Johnny appeared in front of her
again. “Ha ha ha! It’s fun toying with people. You just don’t get it, do you?”
Venus was silent. He said out loud for the crowd to her, “You took everything away from me, and you didn’t
even care!” He then whispered to her only, “And that is why, I’m taking your
most precious necklace in return.”
Venus became shocked. Her eyes
turned watery and reddish in tears. “No… leave me alone…” She said to him
slowly.
Matt opened his eyes wide. “What?
Venus did something that bad? But… she’s always so happy!”
Yessenia was startled. “Someone is
watching the battle from nearby.”
Jen shrugged after Yessenia
continued running off. “She’s always doing things on her own…”
As Yessenia reached the outskirts of
the stadium, she accidentally crashes into Bunny. “Gyah!” She screamed with a
girly tone.
Bunny was facing her extremely
close. “You… serious lady you! Hehe. You scream like a girl!”
Yessenia blushed. “Get away from
me.”
“You scared of me and me only?”
Bunny teased. Yessenia said nothing. “Are you? Are you?”
Yessenia patted Bunny’s head. “You
are just very… fluffy.”
Bunny gasped. “You like soft fuzzy
things! You have weakness for cute things like little ol’ me!”
“Little?”
“So why you running here?”
“Er… I sensed some strange feeling
around here. Someone is definitely watching the mayhem. And it is someone we
know, but least expect to be doing something.”
“You can feel it too?” Bunny was
surprised. “I can. I have nose of hawk.”
“Do you mean eyes?”
“Who cares! I want to find the
presence! Help me.”
Yessenia hesitated for a moment. She
did not like being around Bunny, now that it is revealed she has a weak spot
for cute fuzzy animals. “Ergh… fine.”

Back at Arri, Winny, Omar, Jaime,
and Tony noticed that all of the civilians were cheering in happiness because
they were turned back to normal. Winny laughed. “Ahah! We did it!”
Jaime had Tony on his back. Tony
said to her, “All we need is the Sunlit Grand Cradle and we are done with
returning Elsiya back to its normal self.”
“If you really have a change of heart, you should have reversed both
cradles by now! You’re plotting something aren’t you?!” Omar judged.
“You know, for a smart guy, you seem
to judge things really quickly.” Jaime said sarcastically. Omar rolled his
eyes.
Winny was already off speaking to
several civilians while the men rested, especially Tony who was brutally
attacked by Medusai. Winny returned to the group after collecting some
information. “It seems the side-effect was that the monsters come to life here
and they don’t vanish if they have been wandering around too long. You know,
these people are the closest human beings knowing of the history of the Grand
Cradle.”
Omar sighed. “Damn, should have
researched from these people instead of books.”
“And what did they say about the
Sunlit Continent?” Jaime was curious.
Winny answered him, “The side-effect
of the Sunlit Grand Cradle… is the Sunlit Mayhem itself.” The group of students
was shocked. “It is rumored that when the sunlight raises at the end of the
mayhem, even the mother of Elsiya will fall.”

Yessenia: Has she been keeping a secret from us?
Alex:
Not that it matters. It must be a personal issue of hers and it won’t really
affect us.
Matt:
Who cares! The one thing you’re focusing on is beating him! Go!
Jen:
Maybe we should listen to their story first?
Venus:
There’s nothing that you guys need to know! Ergh!
Matt:
Hm… We’ll have to see about that. Next time on episode 206, Focus on Spokesman

What the…? She’s fighting seriously for once.
