We now arrive in a world of despair. The parallel universe and timeline is now widely arrayed but cannot be evened into a single existence. Almost all truth has been revealed, but a person was lost in return. As the story goes on, now the students will have to fight against antagonists with many missing pieces in their hearts. The goal to restore order had failed enormously and now it is almost too late to change what has been done. All the extra time has been used and there is no second to waste. Students with powers must face the eternal truth. With only one more chapter left of the freshman year, what will be accomplished and where are the antagonists residing in now…?
Episode 115 - The Six Portals of Unfortunate Blessings
The group of seven was still in the first portal of El Monte. They all sat down and the history of El Monte was being explained by the automatic spokesperson up above. While the voices were still going, Santi told the whole group, “It was like a nightmare. A nightmare that could come true if Luther continues to overpower everybody. The reason why El Monte is so closely important to Edmund is all because of me. I was the first person he found when he came into El Monte years ago and I let him do whatever he wanted just because he lied to me.”

The group of seven was still in the first portal of El Monte. They all sat down and the history of El Monte was being explained by the automatic spokesperson up above. While the voices were still going, Santi told the whole group, “It was like a nightmare. A nightmare that could come true if Luther continues to overpower everybody. The reason why El Monte is so closely important to Edmund is all because of me. I was the first person he found when he came into El Monte years ago and I let him do whatever he wanted just because he lied to me.”
“But he lied to you. It’s not your fault!” Shirley tried to help him regain his senses.
“The fact that I am still offered to live on today is just me being lucky.” Santi covered his face with his hands, “My time powers are corrupted, thus corrupting me. I do not know how much time I have left to live.”
Matt punched the tree from Santi’s yard, “Don’t say that! We’re going to get you back to normal. We’re all going to defeat Luther and find a way to make all of our powers go away. Then, we can go back to El Monte in peace.”
Yessenia stopped him from talking. She argued with him lightly, “That is just irrational thinking. You think you can get anything so as long as you try to achieve it. Do you suppose we lose our powers just because we defeat Luther? It is not that simple. There has to be another way and it will not seem so easy at all.”
Matt clapped his hands together, “But still…”
El Monte began having a large earthquake. The whole buildings were shaking for about two seconds and the whole group panicked. Danny hugged the large tree, “Eeyah! What do we do?!”
“That is the wrath and foreshadowing factor of Luther!” Santi explained.
Jaime was sitting down, trying his best not to panic. Alex held onto Shirley. Matt wondered what Santi meant by the wrath of Luther. “What are you trying to say? Is the actual El Monte in danger?”
Santi shook his head. “Yes,” The earthquake stopped. “El Monte should be having an earthquake soon or it had already happened. The more we wait it out, the more terrifying natural disasters will happen to Earth, well, in El Monte and all the other areas around it in California.”
“That’s terrible!” Shirley placed her hands over her mouth.
Alex shook Shirley in fear, “We’re going to die! Everybody is!”
Yessenia questioned the fate of the world. If all the other worlds are completed and at peace, then why are there six portals? “If El Monte’s portal shows negativity… then that can only mean one thing. The other worlds are…!”
Danny saw the portal which led back into the room with the other five portals. “Should we go check the others out?!” Everyone agreed with him and they headed out to the next area.

Arkon’s Magic was next. The group of seven was placed nearby the beach area. Danny opened his eyes wide, “No… no, no! The forest!” He ran towards the forested area where Mariel was buried. “All the trees are broken!”
The automatic voice from above began to speak. “The fate of Arkon lies up ahead.” All of the houses were shattering. The buildings were breaking apart and they all flew up into the sky as if there was a tornado. “There is no home for power wielders. It was never meant to be.”
Yessenia placed her left hand on her left hip, thinking about the cause of this. “Luther does not want us to come here anymore. Arkon’s Magic was always our safe spot.”
“The connection,” The voice said, “Power users were always provided a home as a tradition. It began in Olympia, the ancient world.”
Danny was angry. He was not in tears at all. “This is very bad! I can’t believe Luther would do such a thing. Come on guys, if we do nothing, then the world of Arkon’s Magic will be ruined.”
“Then next is Olympia…” Shirley said.
Matt pointed at the portal, “Let’s head on out then!”

The party headed into Olympia’s center. Alex sniffed the air, “Wow, where are we?”
“Haven’t been here in awhile.” Jaime commented. “Look, Eidothea is wandering around!”
Matt called out to her, “Erica, Erica!! You’re alive!” He ran up to her to hug her but she vanished into thin air. Matt fell to the ground. “Augh… ow…”
“She was just a figment of our imagination.” Yessenia sighed. “There is no way to bring her back.”
Their vision of Olympia turned into the underworld. Santi pointed at the stone of Erica and Hades, “This is the underworld. The real place of Olympia is in stone still, remember?”
Matt felt the walls around the castle, “Wow… It is as if they were calcified. Erica is only a stone, so we can bring her back, right?”
Shirley scratched her head. “I don’t think it works like that. Bringing people back can only work if they are frozen, or so the rumors are told. Stones, a bit different.” Erica’s stone suddenly shattered.
Matt gasped. “Erica?!”
Hades’s stone did not shatter. His returned to his normal state. Alex screamed, “GEEAHH!”
Yessenia ran in front of the whole group. She took out her blunt sword, “Why does only the enemy turn back to normal?!”
“The world of Olympia is bound to be taken over by Hades, and nobody else.” The voice said up above.
Santi spoke up. “The fate of Olympia is ruled by Hades… This place is where it all began and if Hades takes over, all of the other worlds will be the complete opposite. That is, if we do not stop Luther.”
Matt got up and he ran to the next portal, “Then what are we waiting for? Let’s just skip the other three portals and find Luther before all of this happens!”
Santi interrupted him. “We cannot do that! This is Luther’s trial. Any sign of cheating through his trials will result in an instant death. He is watching all of us but he cannot hear us. He can only hear those who he has as his minions. He is testing our emotions. In El Monte, the world was going to be destroyed and Luther wanted to see if we were going to panic. In Arkon’s Magic, Danny didn’t panic but he was expected to. And here… Matt, it is all the same motive.”
Matt stomped his foot, “Ergh! Fine, let’s just go to the next world then!”

In Echoville, Winny was seen sitting at the broken city before the jungle. Shirley was glad to see her safe and sound. She ran up to Winny to see that Winny had her eyes closed. “Hey, are you okay?”
Winny suddenly pushed Shirley to the ground and then she covered her ears, “Leave me alone, leave me alone!”
Jaime ran up to Shirley to help her, “Hey Shirley, remember that Winny’s giddy side has died.”
Winny stood up and she said in fear, “And my serious side is uncontrollable! My powers are becoming unstable and now my normal side is the only thing remain.”
Santi held onto Winny’s arm, “Come with us. We are going to stop Luther.”
Winny pushed him away, “Get away from me. I don’t deserve to even fight anymore. Everything was just my fault.” She began to fall into tears.
The group’s vision was now in the jungle, seeing all of the Halflings trying to fix the whole area. Yessenia commented on it, “This is after we beat Revel and Siren. They are repairing everything…”
Santi held onto Winny’s shoulders, “We can go through this, Winny. Luther is just trying to turn us all crazy before we even reach him. That is his trial.”
Winny said nothing. The vision turned into the hidden village of Echoville. The tower area was collapsing and the whole city was filled with miasma. Jaime watched Sirius’s clouds disappear and the poisonous air was flowing everywhere. Sirius was dying slowly along with Pippy and Sudharma. Alex was completely confused. “What the hell is all this?”
Matt answered him, “This poison stuff is starting at the root of the tower and it will expand as time goes by.”
“And if it is not fixed, El Monte will be filled with poison. The fact that Hades will change our world is already bad enough.” Yessenia added.
The automatic voice spoke, “The prehistoric times is not a time for laughter and merriment. All humans and demihumans must suffer!” The whole area was shaking now. The group could see the whole jungle shattering. Jaime stood up with Shirley. He suggested that the whole group should leave.
Santi said to Winny, “Come with us?”
“But my powers…!” Winny said in fear.
“That does not matter! We are all in this together.”
Winny softly smiled. “Having friends like you all… just make me so happy.” A tree fell right behind her. “And now’s not the time to talk about it. Let’s go!”

The fifth world was next. As expected, the vision showed the whole Forest of Emille burning down into pieces. The ground was falling until the ruins and Rena was seen standing in mid-air. Danny pointed at her, “She’s still alive!”
“No! Something is completely wrong about this.” She waited to see if Rena was real or not. Rena was turning into a large zombie-like monster.
“A digicell?!” Winny exclaimed. “But how?”
“This is all of Luther’s doing. The power of a Survor can make somebody not just any digicell. Rena could be in danger.” Santi responded.
There were many shadows hovering over trees as well. The natural animals living in the forest were being killed and slaughtered by many shadows. Jaime looked at all of them move on their own, “T-That can’t be done by me!”
“Luther is trying to tell us that with fate, Jaime is supposed to destroy the whole forest?”
Matt looked away, “But I already burned the second half of the forest…”
Yessenia interrupted them. “Come on, you guys. This could all be an imagination where Luther is trying to make us crazy.”
The automatic voice began speaking again. “This forest is the connection from El Monte to Edmund. The chapel will burn and El Monte will be blocked forever. The door leading to Edmund will explode and everything will be calcified, El Monte, the Forest of Emille, Edmund, everything.”
Yessenia crossed her arms and then she rolled her eyes. “Okay so we might as well claim that it is the end of the world of El Monte.”
“Only one more terrible place to watch…” Jaime said.
“Edmund, right? Finally a place that I can recognize.” Alex tried to joke around.
Matt headed to the portal, “Well what are we waiting for? The end of the trial is just a small ways ahead!”

Meanwhile back in El Monte’s reality, southern California has experienced about a 6.5 earthquake. No damage was done, but the ground shook massively. Jennifer and Lupe were in their respective health classes, wondering what was going on. Jennifer got under her desk as she said to Lupe, “I think fate is telling us something, Lupe…”
Lupe closed her eyes, “Did Matt, Yessenia and the others fail?”
“I hope not…” Jennifer grinned. “We just have to keep hoping for them.”
Peter was heading out of his classroom for the earthquake drill. He said to himself, “This does not look good. El Monte is worsening…”

Back into the dimension, Edmund was the final place for the group of eight to visit. The whole place was dark as usual. The voice said first, “The world of Edmund is the parallel universe of El Monte. When all ends are complete, both worlds will collide and become one. Everything in both worlds will stay but the worlds will have to learn how to cooperate.”
Matt turned over to Yessenia, “And last time I checked, Edmund was filled with crazy human digicells.”
Yessenia headed back for the portal, “There is no point in listening to this. Let us just wait until the automatic voice is done talking.”
Shirley was praying for their safety, “You’re right. El Monte’s fate was already bad enough by the time we heard about the future’s fate from Olympia. Nobody will survive.”
Alex said to the whole group, “Can Luther really do all of this?” The group became silent. They all listened to him. “What makes him different from the rest of us? If a once-normal guy like Luther turned into such a god, then why can’t normal people like us learn to beat him? It is possible.”
“You know, for a new guy, you got a lot of courage to talk about Luther that way.” Santi chuckled.
Alex tried to laugh back. “Hehe… Well lots of things are scary in this world, but we just have to face it. We’ve all had our losses, right?” Alex was right, after all. Matt is missing Jen and he had also lost Stan. Shirley, Danny and Alex all lost their middle school friend, Mariel. Brandon sacrificed himself so that Yessenia could succeed on in the dimension towards Luther. Jaime fears that his powers will destroy a whole forest. Lastly, Santi and Winny are suffering from their corrupted powers. They all had to face some sort of torment… Each of them had guilt in their hearts.~~~
Matt: Next week on episode 116, ...Rena... She is still out there and things are not looking so well here in the dimension!
Shirley: We went through so much and... this happens!!
Yessenia: We are in deep danger! The only thing we can do now is to keep going.
Danny: I can't have Luther continue to hurt others! Willy is still with him!
Matt: Danny, wait! Don't be ridiculous. You'll get hurt!
Danny: I don't care! Willy is basically Santi. If he dies, then it is as if our own friend dies!
Winny: Between El Monte and Edmund... only one form can survive. The other has to go.
Shirley: Then... what is fate trying to say?
Winny: We will have to see about that.
Matt: Next time on episode 116, Speak with Courage, the Final Battle Begins!
Winny: Fate... Really is behind us.
