Moments
before, the whole group was split into three and the main focus is now based on
the Druskane Continent. Matt, Alex, Nix, and Rowen all arrive at the Cranium
Heights where there is a hidden spring connected to an oasis. Lupe appeared in
front of Yessenia’s group who was all headed towards Crestwood, the first city
to be reached when arriving at the Druskane Continent. At that moment, Lupe
begins to tell the group about her own history. She was also trapped in the
world of Elsiya along with all of the other El Monte students. When Yessenia’s
group arrived at Crestwood, they split for a few hours before night time when
they are reminded to head out to the next destination. Meanwhile, Rowen
explains to Matt and Alex about how he became the only elemental user of 2007.
Yessenia meets an old friend, Brandon Mares. However, he seems to be having an
opposition against Yessenia’s idea. Her group is now headed to the bridges!
Episode 173 – The Five Years Gone Missing, Peridot Soldiers
and Tigre Village
“Wait,
so then…” Shirley continued her conversation with Yessenia, Venus, William, and
Marri. Going back in time, Marri was the same girl that Shirley had to deal
with back in Echoville months ago. This girl was only so young at the time, but
all of the sudden, she appears here with long hair and a full-grown body of an
adult. “Why do you look like you’re five years older?”
“That’s
because I am, silly! Listen, listen! My best friend has been taken as one of
the prisoners of the Taiger Village! Even though he’s not even human, those
bastards still took him as hostage!”
“…Your
best friend isn’t a human?” Venus questioned her. She began giggling to
herself.
“Oh
you be quiet! My best friend happens to be a dog!”
“That
is a terrible thing to say.” William stated.
“No,
no, literally! Its name is Pippy.”
There
was an awkward silence for several seconds and then Shirley blurted out once
again, “WWWWWHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-…”
“Stop.”
Yessenia said in a candid tone.
Shirley
began biting on her shirt in anger as she thought to herself, “(This damn girl
is the crazy puppet person that I fought before. Even worse, her own best
friend is that annoying cat dog thing that has been chasing me most of the time
back in Echoville!!)”
At
that moment, Omar, Peter, and Huy all arrived at the meeting spot and the time
was 8PM by then. The sky was already dark. Omar and Peter were arguing with
each other about their lack of money in order to get the camera back.
“Oh? Who is this
girl?” Huy wondered.
Shirley
crossed her arms. She pouted. “Hmph! I don’t know~.” Shirley lied.
Marri
said in a whiny tone, “Awwww Shirley! How can you say that? It has been five
years. I don’t care what happened. I was young and stupid. I forgive you!”
“FOR
WHAT?!”
Marri
went on. “Don’t you think you can forgive me after five years?”
Shirley
sighed. “I’ve only fought you months ago…”
Yessenia
began to ponder on this issue. For some reason, Marry keeps mentioning ‘five’
years, although she mentions that she knows Shirley back in Echoville. Yessenia
remembered the fact that teleporting to Echoville was only a few months ago.
“Hold on a minute. Marri, what have you been doing for the past five years?”
“I…
don’t remember really. I suddenly appeared out of nowhere here a few days ago
with my big friend, Pippy. People thought he looked weird and that he was a
monster, so they took him away. I can’t control his size, so there was no way
for me to hide him…”
“You
don’t remember…?” Omar became confused. “Whoever this girl is, she must have
lost her memory.”
Yessenia
tried to put the pieces together. “It cannot be Santi’s doing… He has been gone
a long time ago already. You know what, we are going to Tigre Village anyway.”
“T-T-T-Tigers?!”
Peter panicked.
“Okay
what is it now?” Omar wondered. “First, you blame me because I can’t afford a
stupid camera and now you are going to complain about tigers?!”
Huy
joked, “It must be the side-effect of being a panda.”
Peter
attacked them both with his bamboo stick. Yessenia continued, “Anyway, we need
to make our next plan.” She took into account of what Brandon and Lupe warned
them about previously. “If my thought is correct, the Peridot soldiers are
still on the move. Some might be sneaky and make way to Crestwood through
another route. Meanwhile, there are monsters all over the place because of the
Grand Cradle. We do not know the whereabouts of this Grand Cradle, so we’ll
just have to keep fighting them until we figure it out. The safest bet is to
have someone stay here in Crestwood to make sure none of the Peridot soldiers
arrive.”
Peter
quickly raised his hand. “I’ll do it! I need to figure out a way to get that
camera anyway.”
Omar
took out his twin-swords. “I’ll stay here as well. Peter might not survive on
his own anyway. Without me, he’d be a goner!” The two of them began arguing
again.
Venus
shooed them, “Good, good. Tired of seeing their faces yelling at each other.”
Yessenia
pointed at them, “Do not make a
commotion around this city. You have until Venus makes the signal with her
lightning powers.”
Venus
was shocked. “Eh?! You can’t just suddenly make that claim!”
“The
signal signifies that we need you to sail over to the designated area where
Venus will make lightning. That is when we are in dire need of help.”
Omar
shook his head. “Yeah, yeah. Gotcha. Let’s go, Peter. We might as well guard
the Terris while we’re at it.”
Marri
waved at them, “Bye bye, good people!”
“You
don’t even know them!” Shirley picked on her every word.

As
Yessenia, Venus, Shirley, Huy, William, and Marri were heading closer to the
Riviere Bridges east of Crestwood, Yessenia stopped the group to have Marri
elaborate more on what happened with Pippy.
“Well,”
she said, “they wanted to take Pippy to Tigre Village because of animal
testing, or so I’ve heard. The Tigres are the greatest scientific experimenters
of Elsiya. That’s all I know from eavesdropping. At the same time they took
Pippy away, there was some guy with blondish hair and a hat who wore a strange
gray armor. He said to take him as well because he wants to make up for all of
his wrong-doings.”
Venus
screamed, “What did you say?!”
“That
sounds a lot like…!” Yessenia paused for a second.
Marri
shrugged. “I have no idea what was going on in his head. Two guys of the name
Ghoul and Johan took them. They began arguing about who gets the credit for
taking him into custody towards Tigre Village. Who knows.”
William
took a step back. “Now hold on a minute. Ghoul and Johan? They sound like…”
While
Venus was swerving in circles, crying about how Jaime turned himself in,
Shirley asked William, “You know those two guys?”
“They’re
one of the many bullies in Potrero who threatened to defeat us in the Elemental
Challenges. They’re both from South El Monte.”
Yessenia
was quite keen about this, however. “(These elemental powers… Why was middle
school students exposed so early to them? Can the upperclassmen keep their
mouths shut at all?)”
“What
are people from other schools here? Is it just them?” Shirley became worried.
“That
better not be true…” William grinned.
Huy
pointed up ahead, “Hey guys! Look over there at the Riviere Bridges!”
The
group turned their head to see a bunch of injured soldiers lying on the ground.
Shirley covered her mouth, “Oh my! That’s terrible! What kind of soldiers are
they?”
Running
towards the first bridge, Yessenia could spot the same outfits as the CORP
soldiers. Marri pointed at one nearby, “This… this is the same armor that the
blonde guy wore!”
“There
is no mistake.” Yessenia concluded, “That guy you speak of must be Jaime.”
“To
repay for all of his wrong-doings…” Venus repeated Marri from earlier. “Is he
trying to punish himself by being a slave?”
One
soldier spoke up. “Th-The… The Peridot soldiers! They… are taking many people
as slaves. Please, stop them!”
William
fixed his hat. “On behalf of the CORP soldiers, I will fight to return my favor to my new friends!”
“But
that seems a little farfetched. There would be too much to promise on this,
William! These Peridot soldiers don’t seem like jokes after seeing this many
deaths.” Shirley tried to stop him. She grabbed onto his shoulder. “We’ll just
have to stop them together.”
“Tch…!”
William clenched his teeth. He was usually calm, but the fact that some other
force is ruining the CORP soldiers, he could not handle the truth.

At
the Tigre Village, there were several tigermen caged by the Peridot soldiers.
Within that group of slaves, Pippy was stuck within the largest cage. Next to
it was Jaime who said no word. Another girl was in the kitchen, making food for
the Peridot soldiers and also the tigermen.
Newly
seen, there is one dependable beast that had been captured. His name is Taiger,
a strong-willed beast who takes pride in his work and battles.
Another
feline next to him was an amazon-looking tigerwoman. Her name is Lagi.
A
third man in between was completely short of about two feet. This is the elder
of the tigerman also known as Telgei.
Now,
there stands the whole Peridot lieutenant waiting for Rowen’s return. Remember
Jennifer? She is in Tigre Village along with Lupe. Although there is no
specific armor for Peridot soldiers, Jennifer decides to wear a t-shit and a
skirt that goes down to her knees. Lupe on the other hand wore a professor-like
upper shirt and she too wore a skirt. Suddenly, Lupe’s phone began to ring.
“Rowen is calling.”
Winny
and Jason stood next to each other, also waiting for Rowen’s response. Next to
them were Ghoul and Johan, both watching Winny cuddling with her tennis ball.
“Changmin, oh Changmin, you know me so well!” Winny cried.
Jason
placed his hand over his forehead, “Why is my cousin so obsessed…”
Johan
asked her, “Isn’t Changmin some random Korean singer?”
Winny’s
head suddenly grew in anger and her face was red with smoke coming out of her
ears. “CHANGMIN IS NOT SOME RANDOM KOREAN SINGER!! He is a beautiful piece of
work who will become my future boyfriend!”
“…Come
again?” Ghoul became confused.
“I
said, he is a beautiful piece of work who-…”
Jason
sighed. “How many times do you have to say that?”
A
large animal, the shape of a bunny, poked Pippy from the steel cage. “Geheh.
Purr.”
Jennifer
held onto the bunny’s arm, “Come on Bunny, don’t tease that little pipsqueak.”
Pippy tried to bite back but it was in a cage.
Lupe
hung up the phone. “Rowen has given us new orders. By the way, how much longer
are you going to keep that bunny?”
Jennifer
hugged her bunny. “Don’t say ‘that bunny’. Its name is ‘Bunny’! Even if I
barely found it here in Elsiya, I’m going to keep it as mine forever.”
Lupe
grinned. “Hrm. Well anyway,” Lupe then pointed at Winny, “Rowen commanded you
to go east with Jason. At the same time, Ghoul and Johan must go west. With
this plan, no outsiders would be able to come into the village. Rowen said he’s
coming from the east so I’m guessing Winny and Jason are supposed to meet up
with them at one point.”
Jennifer
screamed, “Agh! And the three of us are supposed to do nothing while they have
their orders?!” She watched Bunny poke Pippy several times.
Lupe
scratched her head, “I… guess so?”
Winny
headed east of the village. “Come on Changmin ball, we’re going to work on our
next mission together!”
“Um,
with me too. Can’t forget about me!” Jason called.
“Nobody
asked you, dear cousin.”
“Why
does this always happen to me?” Jason frowned.
Meanwhile,
Ghoul took out his axe. “Yeah, baby! Let’s do this!”
Following
this, Johan then carried his large hammer, “We’re going to pound some idiots
down to the ground!”
Jennifer
said to Lupe, “Yeah I think it’s best if we split away from these people.
They’re kind of off to me.”
Lupe
giggled. “Watch what you say, Jennifer~. Winny and Jason go to our school.”
The whole
Peridot group went their separate ways…

Back
at the first Riviere Bridge, Marri stands up after trying to help a few CORP
soldiers. “Entering Elsiya, the Druskane Continent… it was all a bad idea.”
“How
did you even get here?” Shirley asked the same wondrous question as before.
“Like
I said, I don’t remember. But, the terror never ends. I just… want to go back
to Echoville.”
Yessenia
shook her head. “That can easily be solved once our cellphones work again. And,
in order for them to work, we must return back to El Monte with fully-charged
batteries. All we can do now is move on eastward towards Tigre Village to save
Jaime and Pippy.”

“Ah!
Finally done with the phonecall.” Rowen said while returning from a short ledge
at the end of the Cranium Heights. “Oh? You two…”
Matt
and Alex had a few bruises on themselves. They both looked away, pouting. Nix
coughed. “They fought…” The little bird talked to itself, feeling shameful to
have watched the whole fight.
Rowen
asked them, “What happened to you two?” There was no response between Matt and
Alex. Rowen turned his head to Nix. “You there, little chicken.”
“Ha-
What? Me? I’m a bird!”
“Do
you know what happened?”
“Wh-Why
would I want to tell something to the likes of you?!”
Rowen
laughed. “HAHAHA! Man! You have some guts talking to someone like me. I respect
that. You know what, never mind. I’m sure all uf you can move onward still,
right?”
Matt
coughed. “Touch, sure.”
“Whatever.”
Alex added.
“Alrighty
then. Finally, to Tigre Village! Gahah!”
Nix
watched as Rowen walked off, still with his pride. Nix clenched its teeth in
bothersome. “That… damn… man…!!!”

Shirley:
I hope you’re sarcastic because two versus one might seem a bit out of the
picture.
William:
You don’t trust my potential?~
Huy:
Let’s leave this to William!
Jason:
We will stop you!
Matt:
Pervert! And what’s with the Changmin ball? Next time on episode 174, Nix’s
