Characteristics - Rowen first appears as a mystery to many of the students of El Monte. He seemed to have come out of nowhere in the world of Elsiya only to cause mischievous to Matt and Amy. As time goes by, he presents his real intentions and emotions - greed, but it is no ordinary goal branched from greed. What exactly is this greed about?
Appearance - His signature appearance has to be his headphones. Although never really mentioned in context, his headphones represent his absence of interest in the real world. He tends to do almost everything on his own in a fictional standard. The plot mostly explains this. Rowen's clothes are often of a darker shade.
Story preference (SPOILERS) -
Marconian Continent Arc:
Rowen first appears as a man searching for something mysterious during this arc. Matt and Amy encounters him at the Death Maze but they are suddenly astonished by the amount of power Rowen posses with fire. He seems to connect with Michael, as Michael hints this through warnings towards Matt.
Potrero Arc:
Towards the conclusion, Rowen re-appears and expresses his interest in helping Matt, but as they travel together, Alex is accidentally tagged along with their group.
Rowen Arc:
During his own arc, Rowen begins to show major character development. His past is shown with his three friends Dorian, Aera, and Narisa. However, their connections are not really keen on friendship. As pointed out in context, Rowen expresses greed to keep is powers. Later on, he takes advantage of this greed to try and revive his friends by finding the Telsi Potion. In order to obtain the Telsi Potion, he clashes and makes enemies with most of Matt's friends.
As Rowen takes the Bird's Tear, he returns to Tigre Village and steals the Rainbow Mist from Shirley. After successfully obtaining the ingredients, he creates the Telsi Potion and revives his three old friends: Droan, Anietta, and Narisa. He then takes on a battle against Omar and Peter at the same time.

Relation to:
Rowen's past consisted of three main freinds: Droan, Anietta, and Narisa. Each had a distictive respect for him but due to his unstoppable elite fire powers, he decided to defeat them all - even going as far as obliterating them. Later on, these three friends appear but are over his favor. Aside from these three students, Rowen has also had a few pasts together with Michael Dang. Rowen's past in Elsiya was also relative with Telgei. Finally during the current scenes in the present, Rowen finally brings Matthew Tran into acceptance and takes him to find the Telsi Potion ingredients. On the other hand, Nix opposes this idea, trying to convert Matt to stop listening to Rowen.
