Episode 184 - A Greyton Spirit Dispatches, Reuniting the Whistel Group

The whole group was split into three and the main focus is now based on the Druskane Continent. Matt and Alex decided to battle each other before reaching Tigre Village. At this point, the main group split into two to catch up to Rowen, but Whistel Continent is much more complicated to deal with. From here, Yessenia’s group was able to locate Jen and Joseph, but there are more people who are missing on this continent. Matt’s group headed up the dangerous steep mountain of Trinity Top and Yessenia’s group had to walk through a long, freezing road. Meanwhile, Shirley’s group headed closer into the Greyton Oasis. At this point, Yessenia’s group is luckily saved by a girl named Julie in Feather Mountain.
Episode 184 – A Greyton Spirit Dispatches, Reuniting the Whistel Group

            At the Greyton Oasis, Shirley, Huy, Omar, Peter, and Joey were all standing in front of a pool of water. Shirley stood in front of Joey, “So let me get this straight… You can control steel now?”
            Joey raised his fist high up into the air, “THAT’S RIGHT!” Everybody covered their ears. “After SOoOoOoOoOo~~~ LONG! I’ve figured your secret about the ice a long time ago!!!! Remember how you got that random ice patch?!!!?!!”
            Shirley blushed. “O-Oh… You still remember that?! That was over a year ago!”
            “Yeah. And it was still a mystery! For SOoOoO~~ LONG!! I’ve been searching on several ends on these myths! When I first got these powers, I was SCREAMING for JOY!!!”
            Peter coughed. “Uh… Screaming?”
            Joey pointed at Peter, “Hey you, panda!! How can you talk?” He began sniffing the panda. “Mmmm? You resemble an old friend of mine.”
            Omar whispered to Peter, “That nutjob. Heh.”
            “I really am Peter.” He said bluntly.
            “OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! A PAAAANDA?!”
            Huy stomped his feet simultaneously. “Agh! Can you stop screaming already?!”
            At that moment, they heard a yawn. The group turned to the puddle of water and a light blue silhouette of a young girl appeared floating above the puddle. “Is somebody there?”
            Shirley pointed at the girl, “Is that Thuy? She’s so pretty!”
            Huy clapped his hands together. “Thuy! Cousin!! You’re alive!”
            “Why else shouldn’t she be?!” Shirley slapped his head.
            “Huy! What are you doing here?”
            “We came to ask for the spirit girl’s help. We can’t find her.”
            Omar noticed a blue aura around Thuy. “I think we may have found her.”
            Thuy waved at them, “Yep, that’s me.”
            Huy gasped. “What are you saying?! What is your role?”
            “My role is to stay here – For eternity.” The whole group was surprised at the fact that she said ‘eternity’. “If I do not find someone to replace me, then I will have to be stuck here forever.”
            Shirley shook her head, “That can’t be true! But…!”
            Peter and Omar were silent. Danny was still hiding behind a pillar. Huy took a step forward in denial, “You can’t just stay here. How can we replace you then?”
            “You must have a big heart. The heart to save the world.” She said in a serious tone.
            All four students looked at each other, wondering who has the biggest heart. “And you must be a woman.” Thuy added.
            Shirley shrugged. “Welp, that isn’t me.”
            “Well what a surprise.” Huy said sarcastically.
            Joey changed the subject. He asked her, “Where is the Rainbow Mist?”
            “J-Joey! You can’t just…” Shirley hesitated for a moment. “And it should belong to us, not you. You’re going to sell it instead of using it as an ingredient for the Telsi Potion.”
            “We need the potion to wish for all of us to get out of here.” Peter said.
            Joey yelled at them without using his loudest voice, “What is wrong with all of you?! You say you want to make the Telsi Potion so that nobody else gets it. You’re afraid that if others get the potion, they will use it for greed, like this Rowen guy you keep mentioning. Then, you talk about your own greed about wanting to get out of here, disregarding the fact that there is also an option to have world peace. I understand that it could be our only ticket out of here, but are you really going to stand by and become a hypocrite?!”
            The whole group was silent. Joey closed his eyes in dismay. Thuy was still floating in midair, wondering what she should do with the Rainbow Mist. Shirley blushed. “Yeah, but…”
            “Using it for money is no different.” Omar claimed.
            Huy took another step closer to Thuy. “Look, Joey has a point. It has never occurred to me that we are being selfish too, but both of us and Joey should not be using the Telsi Potion for greed then.”
            “And what do you suppose we do?” Omar questioned.
            “Thuy, please hand us the Rainbow Mist.”
            Joey used his loud voice again, “YOU’RE GOING TO TAKE IT ANYWAY?! What is the matter with you?!?!”
            “For now, we’re not going to use it! We just need to get the ingredients to stop Rowen from making the potion. We will decide what to do with this mist thing later.”
            Shirley agreed with him, “The squarehead is right.” She pointed a Huy, “Even though I rarely agree with his idiotic ideas.”
            “Who are you calling a ‘squarehead’?!” Huy yelped.
            Thuy opened her palms, “Very well, I will hand over the mist.” A bottle appeared in front of her with a rainbow mist filled inside. “Please be extremely careful with it.” While Shirley grabbed onto the bottle, Huy surprisingly grabbed Thuy’s arm. “Oh?!” She said in surprise.
            Shirley tried to stop Huy, “Hey wait, what in the world are you doing, Huy?!”
            Huy tried forcing Thuy out of her blue aura, “What… kind of bullshit… is it…” Huy said while pulling Thuy away from the gravitational pull, “to have women… trapped in a damn caved-up oasis like this?!” Huy clenched his teeth from the force.
            Joey, Omar, and Peter took several steps back away from the large aura that was going haywire now. Shirley covered her eyes. “HUY! Stop what you’re doing! You don’t know what could happen to her!” The force was becoming stronger!
 ~~~
Matt, Stan, and Kalpesh all ran away from a large boulder that was somehow following them. Winny and Jaime simply took their own side of the narrow hall to avoid the boulder. Matt complained while running, “ERRAAAGH! Why is that boulder chasing us?!”
“Who knows!! I don’t have time to create any shield for us!” Stan mentioned.
“Same goes for technology!” Kalpesh added.
            Jaime turned to Winny. “Hm… students from Columbia aren’t that bright, are they?”
            “Guess not.” Winny said bluntly. “Well, we might as well help.” Winny threw her Changmin ball at the boulder and the large rock shattered. The Changmin ball bounced back into Winny’s hands. “When you join the Shot Put team in Track & Field, your throwing abilities never miss.”
            Matt rested and thought about it carefully, “Oh that’s right! I first met her as the scary Shot Put girl… No wonder she’s so good at throwing a ball. And strong too.” Matt suddenly asked out loud, “Hey Winny, are you secretly a guy?”
            “What kind of question is that?!” Kalpesh said off to the side.
 ~~~
At the very top, Yessenia, Alex, Venus, and Julie reached an iced door. Yessenia headed for the nearest ledge to check if a boat was down below. “The Elvrent seems to be working. I can see Jen and Joseph coming from a distance. The plan is, if things get too problematic, you will jump down onto that ship.”
            “Just jump down?!” Alex dreaded. “I don’t think that is a really smart idea.”
            “Just use your water powers to keep a balance.” Yessenia said.
            “You make it sound easier than it actually is…” Alex felt hopeless for a moment.
            Julie clapped her hands, “Ooh how wonderful. Water powers.”
            “Hey, where’s Venus?” Alex began searching around the area. The large ice door was already shattered by her lightning powers. “Are you serious?!?! She just barges in there without us noticing?!”
            “Nope. I noticed.” Yessenia answered.
            “Why didn’t you say anything?!?!” Alex shouted. He ran in to find her as soon as possible. “Let’s go already! Although I prefer not to go in first…”
            In the room, Venus knelt down from the shaking ice room. “Look out. That man is completely dangerous.” She pointed at Rowen who had lava pouring all over his hand and onto the melting ice floor. Tony was across from him, barely with enough power left.
            Alex was amazed. “Even Tony could not stand a chance…”
            Yessenia took out her long sword. “And where is the Bird’s Tear?”
            Julie became worried. “This battle is meaningless. The Bird’s Tear won’t appear unless the Phoenix arrives. And to see Rowen like this…”
            “Just face it, Julie! He’s a bad man!” Alex said without thinking. Rowen turned around slowly as if his neck was like an owl. Alex squealed in fear and then he ran behind Yessenia.
            The ground was shaking again, but this time, nobody was doing anything. Venus fell onto her behind this time. “Oh, what is it now?!”
            A large mechanical spider appeared from the ground. It was half the size of a normal human being. Matt and Kalpesh jumped out of the hole together. “WE MAAAAADEEEE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
            Tony, Yessenia, Venus, and Alex looked most surprised. “That fire boy!” Tony gasped. “What is he doing here?!”
            “At this time, really Matt?!” Venus said.
            Alex jumped in happiness. “He’s okay!”
            Stan appeared, followed by Jaime and Winny. Yessenia tilted her head in confusion. “Jaime? Why are you here?”
            “I… want to continue living on.” He looked at Matt, who was helping Kalpesh and Stan up from the hole. “A good friend of mine told me to continue living on. There is much more to the universe than I thought.”
            Yessenia crossed her arms. “Heh. I knew you would pull through.” She closed her eyes and thought to herself, “Why else would you have avoided my sword back in Tigre Village?”
 ~~~
            Yessenia stabbed the cage again, “Open up, damn it!”
            Jaime barely avoided all of the thrusts and then he used his shadow powers to slight right out of the cage. “Stop trying to hurt me!”
 ~~~
            “Hm. So you have a lot of things to hide, don’t you?” She chuckled softly to herself.
            Obnoxiously, however, Matt yelled at Rowen, “ROWEN!!!! You’re going down! After what you’ve done to me and my friends!”
            “What did I do?”
            “I-I don’t know. You did something! Everyone is surprised right now, so I’m sure you did something bad!”
            Venus slapped her forehead. “Oh gosh…”
            Matt’s area began turning into flames. Stan and Kalpesh jumped away in surprise. “Dude don’t touch us if that happens!” Stan said.
            Matt took a look below his feet. “Huh? F-Fire? What is going on?”
            Nix appeared from his soul. “Matt… This is it.” It began flying up towards the empty pedestal.
            The ceiling began shattering into an implosion. Julie covered her mouth in surprise. “Oh my gosh! It’s happening!”
            “What is?” Yessenia questioned abruptly.
            Julie continued, “The myth of the phoenix… if that bird is indeed the phoenix, then the pedestal will shatter. All of the icy material will just disappear and we’ll be left with the rooftop of Trinity Top. That’s where they got the name. Just look below us. The room is formed into a triangle.”
            “Trinity…” Yessenia repeated. “That strange chicken that has been following Matt all along must be the phoenix!”
 ~~~
            “I’ll do anything to save my cousin!!!!” Huy yelled as he eventually pulled her out of the aura. Thuy fell from midair and she fell onto him.
            The aura vanished and Shirley could see again. “What have you done…” She knelt down to grab Thuy’s arms, “Thuy, are you okay?!”
            Thuy felt her knees. “Ergh… Yes… Thank you…”
            Omar crossed his arms. “Hm, looks like she’s not fatal yet.”
            Huy began hugging Thuy, “Thuy, hang in there! Don’t die on me now!”
            Thuy began feeling her own hands. “What are you talking about? For some reason, I’m not feeling any sharp pains or anything.”
            Joey examined her skin. “You said that women would die right?”
            “I thought that was the myth…” Thuy thought. “But…”
            Suddenly, an extremely large earthquake happened. The whole group fell to the ground. Omar fixed his collar. “From my estimate, this could be close to a 10.0 earthquake.”
            “TEN?!” Shirley screamed.
            Omar suddenly took out a marker board and he began drawing an exponentially grown line graph. “Omar’s school of Earthquakes!”
            “Not this damn ‘Omar school’ again…” Peter sighed.
            Omar used a measuring stick to point at the middle of the line, “See this here? Imagine this is a 5.0 magnitude. You would need thirty-one 4.0 earthquakes to match the strength of a 5.0. Imagine this is exponentially grown by the time you reach that 10.0? Man, that would be extremely rare! You’d probably need millions and billions of smaller earthquakes to match that-…”
            Shirley slapped him several times, “Get to the point, damn it!”
            “Buildings will definitely fall and people could die.”
            “EEEYAHHHH!” Shirley screamed. “ARE YOU SERIOUS?!”
            “WE’RE IN A CAVE!!!” Joey panicked.
            Peter glared at Huy with his panda eyes, “This is what you caused, Huy!”
            Thuy gasped. “Oh! I remember now!!” Everyone listened to her while the ground was still shaking. “The heart of a spirit has to give up on her own in order for her death to come. I did not give up. My spirit ability was taken away differently – and that was the force that Huy used against the aura.”
            Omar paraphrased her, “Therefore, that means that instead of giving up your powers, your powers were taken away alternatively, causing not you to die, but the world to…”
            “The world… The world of Elsiya is… Falling apart?!” Shirley said out loud.
