The whole
group was split into three and the main focus is now based on the Druskane
Continent. Matt and Alex decided to battle each other before reaching Tigre
Village. At this point, the main group split into two to catch up to Rowen, but
Whistel Continent is much more complicated to deal with. From here, Yessenia’s
group was able to locate Jen and Joseph, but there are more people who are
missing on this continent. Matt’s group headed up the dangerous steep mountain
of Trinity Top and Yessenia’s group had to walk through a long, freezing road.
Meanwhile, Shirley’s group headed closer into the Greyton Oasis. At this point,
Yessenia’s group is luckily saved by a girl named Julie in Feather Mountain.
With the two groups rejoined, they head back to Taiger Village.
Episode 188 – Target the Rainbow Mist, Shirley’s Honor
of Endurance
Shirley’s group was heading closer
to the Tigre Village. Her hair was completely messy and her clothes were filled
with brown dirt, along with Joey and Danny’s clothing. Peter came out of
nowhere and took a picture. “This would be nice for your Journalism paper.”
Joey quickly took his camera back.
“GIVE ME THAT. Thanks for finding it, bastard.”
“Yeah whatever.” Peter shrugged.
Huy, Omar, and Thuy finally arrived
from the steps. Danny spit out mud from his mouth in surprise. “They took the
steps instead!”
~~~
Rowen’s ship was heading onto the
docks of Tigre Village. Lupe, Jennifer, and Brandon were outside of their
little hideout. Jennifer and Brandon were taking a look around, carefully. Lupe
was behind them, worried about the slight shaking that has been growing from
the recent minutes. William, Christine, and Jason were in the hideout, watching
through the window. Christine said to them, “I’m kind of worried about what’s
happening here…”
Jason opened his arms. “You don’t
need to worry. I’m here.”
“Can you not?” Christine grinned in
fear.
William had his hand on his chin in
wonder. “Hm… What could it be?” He asked himself.
A bunch of robots were floating in
the air above the former Peridot soldiers, Jennifer, Lupe, and Brandon. It
began voicing what the men from the Peridot ship were saying. “Stay at your
places. Guard the village. We will take care of everything from here.” Ghoul
was speaking through a microphone. Each robot had speakers connected to Ghoul’s
microphone. Johan was next to Rowen on their Peridot ship.
Johan said angrily to himself, “Damn
you William… We’re not done here.”
Lupe felt her chest. Her heart was
beating faster in fear. “Oh my goodness… what is going on here?”
The robots began examining their
eyes. “Enemy. Enemy alert.”
Ghoul stomped his foot. “What the
heck?”
“What is it, Ghoul?!” Johan asked.
“Those three… they’re being
considered enemies according to my robots’ detectors.”
Rowen said without emotion, “Take
them as hostage. I knew they were against me all this time.”
Ghoul began commanding his robots to
fly down and grab a hold of the three former Peridot soldiers. One grabbed Lupe
by the arm. “Eagh! Please, do not touch me!” Lupe said.
Brandon was too slow at deciding
what to draw in order to stop the robots. He was eventually caught as well.
Jennifer ran around the large empty field, looking for a place to attack most
of the robots. She made a gun appear in both of her hands. “If you hurt my best
friends, then you will take a
vigorous beating, you bastards. Actually, screw the hostility.” She began
shooting the robots with her gun. Some of the robots began shutting down. Some
others had their arms broken.
Rowen examined one of the robot’s
scanner. He could see Jennifer shooting down several robots. “Take her down,
immediately.” He commanded Ghoul.
~~~
Shirley’s group entered Tigre
Village at last. They could see the flashing gunshots from afar. Even several
robots were still in the air. Shirley screamed, “Eek! What happened to this
place?!”
Huy began running towards the
hideout first. “Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem good! Come on, let’s go!
Christine is in danger!” Everyone was silent. “And everybody else too!”
“Now you’re talking.” Peter said as
he began following him.
~~~
Rowen began walking off of his ship.
Right when Shirley’s group arrived at the hideout, a robot grabbed onto
Jennifer. Shirley threw several icicles at the robots. Peter and Omar attacked
with their swords and bamboo sticks. Danny imitated the ground level and used
Stalagmite. Ghoul and Johan arrived at the center of the village first. They
counterattacked with drones and machineguns.
Ghoul created more robots especially
for Jennifer, Lupe, and Brandon. Shirley yelled at them, “Let those people go!
They’re part of El Monte, not your stupid Peridot crap!”
Lupe frowned. “We were on the wrong
side the whole time…”
Jennifer looked away. She did not
want to admit it. She knew El Monte was her home compared to being a Peridot
soldier. Huy boosted against the floor and then he sped quickly towards Ghoul.
“You bastards!!”
Ghoul created a robot with a hand
large enough to grab Huy’s body. Peter was caught surrounded by several robots.
Ghoul laughed evilly. “As long as I am here, you can never get rid of these
robots. I’ll just keep making more, and more, and more.” More robots appeared.
Joey began throwing steel plates at
the robots. “Well it looks like I’m useless here.”
“Head over to the hideout. There are
others in there that are in danger!” Shirley ordered Joey, Thuy, and Danny.
Shirley created more icicles towards
any robot that was coming closer. Johan shot several bullets from his
machinegun. Shirley barely dodged them all. “Eh?! EYAH! AH! HEY, STOP THAT!”
Shirley shouted at them.
One bullet caught her shirt. Johan
began laughing. “Bull’s-eye!”
Several more bullets caught onto her
clothes and barely onto her skin. Shirley fell onto her knees. “Ergh! No…”
Joey stopped and turned around.
“Shirley…!”
“Just go… Joey. Run for it!”
“I WON’T LET THAT HAPPEN TO MY BEST
FRIEND. I JUST CAN’T, DAMN IT!”
“Who cares about that for now. You
have people to save! I’ll be okay!” More gunshots were aimed towards Shirley.
Joey tried to create steel plates in front of Shirley.
Ghoul made his robots grab a hold of
Joey while he was caught off-guard. Thuy and Danny made it safely into the
hideout however. Omar was still fending off against the robots. Everybody else
was caught. Shirley was the only one who wasn’t being held by a robot. Ghoul
watched her in pain.
Shirley tried to get up. One leg was
on her knees and the other was on the floor. She held her left arm. “I can’t
give up here… We went this far just to stop you guys!”
More gunshots were being made. Joey
called out for her, “Shirley!!! YOU BASTARDS NEED TO STOP!”
Shirley was getting more bullets
onto her left arm. She fell on her back. “AAAUGH!!!”
Joey’s eyes began teary. “You
idiots… YOU IDIOTS!!!” He shuffled around the robots, trying to get out of the
robot’s grip. “Get off of me, damn it! You’re hurting my best friend! My best
friend I’ve always cared for since middle school!!!”
Shirley closed her eyes. “The pain…
Somebody… Stop them!”
All of the other students were
watching, horrified. Omar tried to reach his way towards Shirley, but he was
still occupied by the robots nearby himself. Joey said while struggling with
the robots, “Why are you guys only picking on her anyway?!?!?!”
Rowen
finally appeared. “Hmhmhm. She is the one.”
“The one?” Shirley repeated. “What
the heck… are you talking about…?!” She began coughing for air.
Rowen pointed at her. “I see it.
That bottle.”
Shirley checked her belt. It was
tied with the Rainbow Mist. “Could it be this… that you’re after?!” She covered
the mist. “You can’t have it!”
Rowen made a large fire aura appear
around her. Joey shook again. “STOP!”
Rowen said without emotion, “You
have five seconds to give it up. Or else these flames will have to take over.”
Shirley did not know what to do. She
was sweating, and also in pain. “Tch…”
“Five.” Rowen said. Omar eventually
got caught against a robot. Shirley’s eyes opened wide at the last friend who
was caught by the robots. “Four.” She then looked over at Peter and Huy who
were in shame. “Three.” Shirley turned to Jennifer, Lupe, and Brandon. They
were all watching her in surprise. “Two.” Lastly, she saw Joey, worrying about
him. She closed her eyes. “One-…”
~~~
In Dalstidia, Matt grabbed Jen’s
arm. “Hurry, we have to find Thuy!”
“I gotcha! I’m better at running
than you are!”
“You have a lot of endurance, but
can you run fast?”
Jen pouted. “Hmph!”
Yessenia was next to the two of
them. She was also taking notice of her surroundings. “Everybody seems to be
running from the collapse of Dalstidia instead of whoever is in charge of
this.”
“I’m telling you, it’s the spirit
girl, Thuy. She’s harmless, but the fact that she’s not in the oasis, that
could make things dangerous.” Matt said to her.
Yessenia noticed that there was a
perfect circle encircling the whole city of Dalstidia. She could see the ledges
pulling downward. “The city is the only thing falling.” The hole was getting
bigger. The edges were collapsing. “And slowly, the whole continent will be
destroyed, starting with Dalstidia.
Jen stopped. “Wait, if Thuy is
really here, shouldn’t people be surprised?”
“Do people really care what the
spirit girl looks like?” Matt wondered. “I mean, I would expect them to change
the spirit often. Thuy just got this role a few months ago.”
“I doubt they would know. They do
not even know what is happening.” Yessenia noticed that these people were more
worried about themselves than to blame the culprit. She looked at the map. “I
bet it is pointless to be searching around here.”
“Thuy would make an announcement
anyway, right…?” Jen guessed.
Matt sighed. “I guess you’re right…
We might as well continue towards the Greyton Oasis.”
~~~
In the hideout, robots started
barging in loudly. William, Christine, and Jason became alert. Their own door
barged open with Thuy and Danny entering. Danny created a large wall
manipulated from the ground in order to block the door from opening.
William shrieked, “Agh! Who the heck
are you people?”
Thuy was grumpy. “Well hello to you
too.~”
Danny was grasping for air. “I’m
tired… from all of that running!”
“I’m surprised you even ran fast.”
Thuy giggled.
Jason hugged Thuy. “You’re
alive?!?!”
Christine slapped him. “Stop with
the touching. Anyway, what is going on?”
Thuy said calmly, “Eheh… well um,
the robots are coming, I think.”
“You think…?” Christine scratched
her head. “Oh well. That just means one thing.”
The group was silent for a few split
seconds until it hit them. All five students suddenly ran in sync screaming,
“RUN!!!!!”
“Agh! Why am I running, damn it?!
I’m a Peridot soldier!” Jason complained.
“Your whiny voice is bad enough. Can
you just be quiet?!” Christine said out loud.
“The robots are coming. The robots
are coming!” Danny repeated. He tripped onto the floor and the other four
students stopped. Danny turned around. “Ah… It looks like I have to stop them.”
He made several walls blocking the group while he was on the floor. “You guys
have to run to the back door!”
“What back door? There is no back
door in this building.” Christine said lightly.
“What kind of building is this?!”
William said as he continued running.
“Oh, thanks for waiting!~” Christine
said sarcastically as she followed along.
Thuy asked Danny kindly, “Will you
be alright?!”
“I don’t have much time, go!” Danny
frowned.
Jason grabbed Thuy’s arm. “You heard
the man!”
Thuy slapped his arm away. “Don’t
touch me. Let’s just go.”
Further along the hallway, William
asked Christine, “Isn’t there any other way out?”
“We can hide in the basement.”
Christine had an idea. “Yes, we can hide in there. Perfect!”
“Where is it?”
She paused. “Oh we just passed it.”
“WHAT?!” William shouted in front of
her face.
“We can still make it back there
before the robots catch up! Let’s go!” Christine ran first. The robots appeared
in the hallway now. Christine quickly made a left turn and then William
followed. Thuy was next. Jason only stood there. The robots stopped and watched
Jason.
“Enemy… enemy… ally… enemy…” The
robots were confused.
Ghoul appeared behind the robots.
“What are you robots doing?” He took sight of Jason. “Oh, it’s you. The failure
of the Peridot soldiers. It seems my robots cannot detect what your heart is
telling you.”
“My heart belongs to Peridot’s
pride! And my friends’ hearts as well!”
“So corny. Do they even consider you
their friends?”
“Yes! I will continue to believe
that!” Jason saluted.
Ghoul sighed. “You’re not really
needed in this group. Get them, robots.”
“Wah?!?!” Jason shrieked.
Christine saw a bunch of boxes to
hide behind. She ran in and William and Thuy followed along. Christine pushed
them aside. “H-Hey! Only room for one person!”
“Damn you!” William said as he ran
to another box.
Thuy went to her own box. Eventually
Ghoul appeared in the doorway before any of the robots. He made the robots shut
down for now so that there was no disturbance in the noise. “This is the only
room left, kiddies~. You have nowhere to hide~.”
~~~
Outside, Shirley opened her eyes
again once Rowen said ‘one’.
“STOP IT!!” Joey begged one last
time.
Shirley said with certainty, “Fine!
I will hand over the Rainbow Mist!”
