Stanley Yeung
[profile picture for episodes 181-260]
Characteristics - Stanley, claimed only to Matt as 'Stan', is Matt's best male friend. He, along with Jen, met Matt in the first grade eight years ago after they attempted to dig up a man hole from dirt. However, after a certain year in their elementary school, Stan had become a more cold-hearted character. Strangely enough, Matt does not care if Stan acts in such a manner. Matt considers Stan a very helpful friend even if Stan does not show his appreciation for Matt's expressions. He is mostly shown with Kalpesh, who is also a childhood friend of Matt.
Stan acts more independent than Matt and Kalpesh, saying that he himself, along with Kalpesh, can live through high school without Matt's presence.
Stan may be straightforward with his words, but his friendship with students in El Monte has become more trustable throughout the second year. He enjoys utilizing RPG gaming experience for battles.
Appearance - Stan keeps his hair down. His eyes are smaller than other characters to symbolize idealization and self-made goals to become stronger. He usually wears regular shirts and sweaters.
Story preferences (SPOILERS) -
Starters Arc:
Stan is first mysteriously shown in a certain incident on Matt's first day. This has been a confusion over the rest of the episodes but soon enough, Matt had eventually forgotten the incident.
Identity Arc:
He later wanted revenge for a certain teacher. Matt, in response, tries his best to stop Stan. Even without powers, Stan has the ability to overpower Matt's mind.
El Monte Arc:
Later in the story, Stan discovers that Matt is disappearing more often in Stan's life. This is only because Matt is busy fixing the other worlds compared to El Monte. Stan strongly believes that Matt no longer finds Stan useful and he begins to indirectly resent Matt even if others such as Jen and Kalpesh are looking for him.
Echoville Arc:
In recent times, Stan accidentally visits Echoville after disconnecting more from Matt. Due to Miss Siren, he is given the power to create armor and weapon at any time he chooses.
Forest of Emille Arc:
Stan appears in front of Matt and Mariel and he threatens them with his weapons, saying that he is the strongest. Later, he appears in the Forest of Emille bridge to destroy Danny and misses.
At the end of the Forest of Emille, he confronts Matt yet again and they get into a fight that seems unstoppable. This causes the Forest of Emille to burn in flames.
Luther Arc:
Stan had continually gained more strength as time has gone by. Now, he is the subordinate of the overpowerful ruler, Luther and is completely going against Matt in his tactics.
Rowen Arc:
Stan appears in the Rowen arc shortly after Jen's reappearance. However, Jen is from the northern part of the Whistel Continent while Stan and Kalpesh are from the southern part within Halka Village. With Kalpesh, they connect with Matt again and they help lead the main group to Trinity Top the dangerous way.
Sunlit Mayhem Arc:
In the Sunlit Mayhem, Stan becomes one of the ten participants to battle for their right to go back to Earth. Surprisingly, Stan has to battle Taiger, one of the fastest characters known so far. However, with Stan's ability to manipulate his RPG gaming experience, he was able to out-battle Taiger.
Juvenile Arc:
As Jen becomes worried about Matt and his friends, Stan helps Jen alleviate her fears and stress by telling her that they will be fine.
