Daniel Cortes
[profile picture for episodes 181-260]
Characteristics - Danny, whom everyone names him as, is a rather very strange character. He tends to run his mind off into space, thinking about something random than something serious. He runs faster than what his appearance may expect him to be. He doesn't seem to show an affection to eating but his size lives up to it. He usually causes trouble towards the group. So far, Danny has no more characteristics because of an incident that he was involved in.
Danny seems to be a bit of the oddball of the group overall. He mentally wanders off while his friends are having a serious conversation. He does not mind chewing gum from the leftovers under tables and such. So far, he is merely a strange character who does most things differently.
In his second year, he kept a secret from everybody that his knowledge is extremely and highly potential for a 4.0 GPA.
Story preferences (SPOILERS) -

Danny has the power to dig under ground and smash it as well. Matt experiences a couple of earthquakes only nearby him. As Santi spots Danny, he and Matt follows him but his speed is far too fast. However, the earthquake abuses tend to cause students, mainly Jon, to report this incident, causing Danny to be sent away.
Dispel Arc:
As of episode 11, Danny had returned to El Monte High School by asking the principal to sign a contract. He tells the principal that he has a twin brother, who was the one responsible for all of the violence with the school grounds. However, without any further explanation, Danny has lost the ability to abuse his ground powers and now he can only use a small amount of ground leveling.

Matt had insulted Danny for his weight. This caused Danny to fall into complete despair and he felt inferior. Secretly, Danny had been training by himself and he checked the chapel on his own to solve the problem for everybody. In the end, he had failed and turned evil from a dark digicell. Easily enough, Matt and Yessenia defeated the dark digicell and he was back to normal.
